The Dead Diva: A Sissy and Miss Boo Mystery
When her boss, editor-in-chief of the Mount Chapel News, sends Sissy to interview LaRue Saint Pierre, local author of a series of popular steamy romance novels, she discovers the diva's body at her desk in the newly remodeled home library. Who shot her? How did the murderer get into the room without leaving any tracks? Sissy calls Miss Boo to come wait for the police with her. Miss Boo's sexy grandson, police detective Asher Donovan, recruits Sissy to walk through the scene as she relates her story room by room, and together they find hidden doors that lead to secret rooms. Miss Boo takes Sissy to the retirement home where the former teacher now lives, Sure enough, Mrs. Fewell verifies that the student that now goes by the exotic name LaRue Saint Pierre could not possibly have written those best selling books. So who did?
And more importantly, who killed her? And why?
