Stephen Lovatt has always been interested in hymnody and poetry, especially that of William Blake. He started to write poetry seriously in 2009 after moving to Cheltenham.

This is his second collection of poems. It focuses on topics of philosophical and emotional significance, and in particular the nature and experience of love. The text is informed by his Platonism and Catholicism.
