Minus one star for only including basic math and not problem solving strategies generally, algebra, or geometry, or even arithmetic algorithms, a basic skill and big area of concern in adolescents with LD. sequencing steps and task analyzing a problem are key too - so frustrated that a book for HS math for kids with LD doesn't exist!

Techniques to help students develop basic number sense up through more complicated mathematical abilities. There are recurring themes throughout all the chapters that would work well if applied consistently across all levels of math instruction. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen in most schools.
