First it was Leonardo, then Marco and now Gianni. Be still my heart. I wish Melissa can give us readers an endless supply of these Santini brothers because they are absolutely irresistible! Three brothers' stories have already been told and now Vince's story is next which I am definitely looking forward to.

Now, onto my thoughts of Gianni. This was another fabulous story penned by Melissa Schroeder. Just when I thought I couldn't fall in love with another Santini brother, Melissa introduces Gianni, another sexy and swoon-worthy brother who I absolute fell for as well.

I loved the humor that was incorporated into this story and I absolutely adored Gianni and Kianna's personalities. I loved them; they just seemed like the sweetest couple ever. I loved their interactions and their easy going attitude with one another. The story sizzled with sexual tension and chemistry. Plus, it was pretty hot when they got between the sheets ;) I also loved that we got to see characters from past books such as Joey, Leonardo and Mary Anne.

Overall, Gianni was sweet, sexy, and light making it the perfect selection for an afternoon read. Gianni kept me entertained from the first to the last page and I enjoyed every minute spent with Gianni and Kianna.

I enjoyed this story for the most part with the exception of the heroine constantly using the words pretty and gorgeous to describe the hero.

Gianni is the youngest of his three brothers and Kianna is the oldest of her two sisters. They meet, when he is struck by the scrumptious sight of her backside and when he sees her face, ironically her beauty. They talk and decide to spend the day together before he ships out to fulfill his deployment duties. While away, they chat daily (sometimes several times a day) via email and get to know one another quite well.

After being hurt during a mission, Gianni is once again Stateside and ready to spend as much time as possible with Kianna. They feel like kindred spirits and quickly settle into a relationship. Of course, a misunderstanding nearly derails the budding relationship, but fortunately they quickly come to their senses to resolve their issues.

Short story ... ends at 85 percent.

Gianni was fantastic!
Being the younger brother was a lot to measure up to! The personality that Melissa gave this character was definitely unique to the series. Gianni was first seen in book 2 of the series, Marco, and he was a fun-loving character who seemed to be able to push everyone's buttons. But when his story opened up and he was faced with a deployment on the same day that he met Kianna, your heart goes out for the fun loving Santini who seems to have met his match!
Kianna & Gee had to get to know each other over a distance and this built up a strong foundation.
The couple faced many challenges, age difference for one. One of my favorite parts of Gee's story was the inclusion of his sister-in-law MJ, who gave him some advice on fixing his relationship.
The Santini Men are definitely worth the read.

Gianni may be the baby but he's all Santini! That boy knows he's found the woman he wants and needs and he goes after her with all his heart (and super hot bod!).
I love Kianna, she is strong and brilliant and not afraid to stand up for herself and what she wants in life and not let the doubts draw her too far down.
They are a great couple and a totally hot read!!!

Another 2.5 rating.

I think out of the three I have read so far in this series, this was probably the most disappointing one.

Perhaps reading these stories completely independently over a few months might have made them more interesting, but reading them in sequence, one after another, makes it very obvious that they are just too similar: the almost inexistent plot is rather identical, the Santini brothers are carbon copies of each other and even the heroines display a total lack of unique personalities. In this instalment, many other situations were repeated from previous stories, from the way they talk, to the overuse of stock phrases, to the way they all make love, which is identical and following a pattern of: he does A, then B, then she responds with C. All the same. Boooring! Inevitably leads to the feeling that I was reading the same book for the third time.

Sill, the setting is different, and the heroines have different professions, which feels the only unique thing in each story.

This one was just too short to have any deeper substance than the merely formulaic, but since I am a stickler for completion, I will have to read the novella for the last brother too. Damn! But he sounds probably the most interesting one with an unrequited love for next to two decades, so that is certainly different!

Gianni is the third installment in the new series The Santinis by Melissa Schroeder. I received the ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. So far, I have enjoyed all of the books in this series, some more than others. Gee as he is known and called by his family and friends is stationed in Valdosta Georgia and this is where he first encounters Kianna Jones.

He is entranced by the woman he sees in the sweet shop and he tries to win her over with his usual charm. He has 24 hours before he ships out and he wants to make the most of it and this time he wants to do it with no regrets. Kianna however doesn’t make it easy for Gee. Their first encounter is one of slight embarrassment and unclear signals and it sure does make the usually suave Gianni appear less than capable in getting to know this woman that he is interested in.

Truth be known, Gianni’s interest has also thrown Kianna for a loop and yet she is still able to keep her cool and Gianni is able to charm her into spending time with her before he is shipped out. I liked Gianni in the previous installments when he did make an appearance and he is one smooth talker, but he also knows what he wants and he is a go getter, going after Kianna, because he does want her and more than that he wants to get to know her.

Each chapter of the story has a line or two from the emails that Gianni and Kianna wrote to each other while he was deployed in Afghanistan, but I personally didn’t like this as I felt that it didn’t add much to the story or to the characters of Gianni and Kianna. I would rather read about them interacting with each other and seeing their relationship develop.

I liked Kianna as a character. She has been married before and she has to deal with two sisters who sometimes don’t make the best choices. She is a strong character who knows what she wants and needs. I also liked reading more about Gianni and seeing what he was really like in a relationship. He also looked out for Kianna and they were good together. It was also good to see the various Santini clan members pop up and see what they were up to.

It is mentioned more than a few times and by different characters that Gianni is six years younger than Kianna, but in my opinion, this really didn’t seem to have any bearing on the development of the relationship, so why it was mentioned again and again had me wondering. Kianna didn’t raise it as a serious issue that prevented their relationship from moving forward until right at the end when it seemed a bit pointless to raise it, and Gianni didn’t seem to worry about it much either.

One other little niggle is the plane ride at the end with Alana. It just seemed as if it was thrown in for effect. Unless you have read the previous installment you wouldn't have a clue who Alana is. This needed to be explained otherwise, it could just have been a simple plane ride home, and we don't even get to meet her.

This is a series about military men, but there is very little of this aspect revealed in this story, which I think is a shame. I would have loved to have a better idea of the work that Gianni does as this is such a big part of who he is as a person and it is important to him. Added to that, the fact that his family is a military family. I just think that this would have really rounded out the story more and added more depth to Gianni’s character. We got to see a bit of Kianna at work, so why not Gianni?

After this story there is one more brother and I cannot wait to read about the last Santini! Bring it on Ms. Schroeder!

I have been looking forward to reading Gianni's story since Mel Schroeder started this excellent Santinis series.

From the previous novellas, Gianni aka Gee is known as the fun loving youngest brother, who always goes after the ladies and will 'bag' anyone that he lays his eyes on. His humour was paramount in Marco's story and when he was injured in the second instalment you knew that he had a fun story to tell.

From the outset this book has passion, sexiness and wonderment in abundance. As soon as Gianni sets eyes on the luscious Kianna, the reader knows that he is a goner. What I really liked from the beginning is that Gianni's reputation for being a 'ladies man' was not used to it's full extent, in that he did not treat this beautiful female, Kianna, like a piece of meat. He showed respect and wistfulness as he spent the day with her before he was deployed to Afghanistan.

This story overlaps with the previous novella in that Gianni comes back to home soil after being injured and after spending a few days with his family he is ready to get back to pursuing Kianna.

This is a fun, quick easy read that is hot, sexy and very passionate. Gianni and Kianna are brilliant characters, easily suited to each other and the banter between the brothers as they wind each other up is always fun to read. Ms. Schroeder has written a brilliant novella series and as each brother finds the woman who totally blows them away, leaving no other female on their radar, it is fun to see the family grow and the reader be part of the Santini family.

One more brother left, definitely looking forward to reading Vincente's tale...

Yesterday I got an ARC of Gianni and I swear I was going to read just one page, but I could not put it down, it is that riveting. Largely the story is very different from any of the other stories so far in that the story opens up on Gee's last day in Georgia. He is being shipped out to Afganistan the following day and he will be gone indefinitely. He meets this cute woman in a coffee shop, he hits on her and she likes him and they spend the day hanging out. At the end of the day he gives her a kiss and says he will email her.

Then the story cuts to him recuperating from an injury in DC at his moms house. He was not majorly injured but his injury was enough to get him sent home to recover and out of the mission. Meanwhile him and our heroine Kianna, a professor at the university, who is a few olders than Gee have been emailing for 3 months and he cannot wait to get back to Georgia and her. The story then starts picking up from his knock on her door til when he manages to get her to marry him.

I am not going to spoil all the excitement of the story, except to tell you that the story is great and you will love every moment of it. I loved how they include all the other Santini's in the story and we get to catch up with all of them. The story is fun and a quick read. Our H and h have lots of sex but its not graphicly described. What came as a surprise to me was that Kianna is not white. I really had no idea, I was picturing her totally different in my head, and so I would have rather known that early on.

All in all a fun, quick read with some great characters. The perfect story to read on a rainy day or a book for the beach or pool.

Have you ever considered dating a younger man? I sure did, and I really don’t think it’s as bad as many an older woman might assume. It’s especially not so daunting if the younger man is like Gianni, the white hero in Melissa Schroeder’s The Santini’s: Gianni, Book 3. Gianni, or Gee as he’s affectionately called by his relatives and friends, is the youngest of the Santini brothers. With his smokin’ hot body, his sense of humor, his obvious affection towards his relatives, and his don’t-mess-with-my-woman attitude, not even Professor Kianna Jones, a black woman, can resist him.

And who says you can’t get to know about a person through emails? Gee and Kianna sure did. Schroeder gives readers a brief insight into the email exchanges between the couple at the beginning of each chapter, which would at least evoke a chuckle from readers. Thus, by the time Gee returns to Georgia he and Kianna have really gotten the opportunity to know each other quite well, so his homecoming is explosive.

Of course, the couple has to deal with issues many couples face in real life. But in the end, Gee’s determination to woo Kianna and win her as encapsulated by his searing kiss to remind her “Just … who is the man in the relationship,” as well as their love for each other in spite of their differences in age, ethnicity and educational background ensure they have their happily ever after.

So if you’re looking for a quick, light read this summer, Gianni’s story is just right for you. In fact, you might as well purchase the other books in this series: Leonardo Book 1, Marco Book 2, and Vincente Book 4.

Gianni Santini is the youngest Santini brother and my favorite so far. He’s a PJ in the Air Force and he meets college professor Kianna Jones, a sexy woman five years his senior. There was this instant chemistry that I loved, it was a cool contrast to have the eldest sister falls for the youngest brother. The dynamic they both have with their siblings was an interesting layer to this story.

Gianni Santini, is smooth, sexy, and fun. I would love to find a man like him. He treats Kianna like this rare treasure that is meant to be pampered and held above all others. He was swoon worthy. Kianna is smart and sexy, and willing to let a younger man sweep her off her feet. The ways that Ms. Schroeder has their relationship grow and build is beautifully done. We got to catch up with Leo and MJ and got to see a taste of Georgia with this book.

I recommend this Santini for the sensual side of Gianni, he’s the smoothest brother yet! This is a story of love that’s just the right length for full satisfaction.

I was gifted this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is the third short story I have read by Melissa Schroeder and I enjoyed it. Gianni, is book three in a series of novellas about love and life in the military. Each novella is about one of the four Santini brothers. The story is well written and hot!

Gianni is the youngest Santini brother and is stationed in Valdosta, Georgia. Just like his three brothers, he is good-looking, caring and serves in the military. Gianni or Gee is an Airman. Kianna Jones is a sexy English Professor and widow. She is the oldest of three sisters and is a few years older than Gianni.

Gianni and Kianna meet in the local sweet shop and end up spending the day together. Their kiss goodnight and goodbye is only the beginning of what is yet to come. Gianni deploys the following day and they correspond via email throughout his deployment. They learn a lot about each other through email and when Gianni returns, it is as if they were dating for a couple of months. They continue to date, have amazing sex and fall in love.

This book is a great addition to the Santini series!

As posted on The Smutty Kitty

4 out of 5 Licks

I’ve been waiting for Gianni’s book since Leonardo was released. Gianni is the youngest of the Santinis and very outgoing and a serious flirt. I loved him in Leonardo’s book, flirting with MJ and driving his brother nuts. Reading the dynamic between family members is always so much fun. I love getting to know more and more about each brother before their story is released. I love that Kianna is a bit uncomfortable with her body and the things Gee says to her made me want to cry. Gee shows Kianna that even though he may be younger than her, her is wiser in some areas. I loved the emails at the beginning of each chapter. The two were emailing for two months while Gee was deployed. They learned so much about each other during that time that they really developed a very strong relationship. It was a surprise to both of them that they loved each other so quickly once Gee returned.

I can’t wait to see Vince fall. I bet he’s gonna be a tough one to crack…just the way I like them!

Oh sweet sweet flirtatious baby Santini Gee. He is absolutely swoon worthy. After reading his playful flirting with Alana in Marco I knew I would just love reading his tale to a happily ever after. I was correct in this assumption. I am also happy that he got a girl he had to work to get. Kianna kept the man on his toes in his pursuit of her. She didn’t just let him take control and run with it. She thought she was just a passing fling for him so she didn’t let him ease his way into her life. She believed she was saving herself from heartache later. Little did either one of them know that not expressing their thoughts about what they were doing would lead to trouble anyways.

I loved that each chapter begins with a tiny snippet from the emails they shared while Gee was deployed. This added a sweetness to the anticipation they went through before seeing each other again after two months of emails.

Each book in this series works as a stand-alone.

I love these Santinis brothers more and more. I could not turn the story down at all. It is a page turner! I love how Gianni grew overall by falling in love with Kiana. they are perfect for each other. Gianni is the little baby of the family that it surprises everyone when he starts falling in love with a women. Kiana is older than Gianni, but it does not stop them from falling in love with each other. They both express their feelings and interact with their families. We get to see how protective and territory Gianni is with Kiana. Also, we get to see how much they love each other when they both confess their love for each other. They end up getting marry. We finally get to Vince after this story ends. I love these brothers so much!!!

I loved it!

Gianni is the SEXY HOT airman of the brothers. He might be the baby of The Santini brothers, but when he runs into the sexy curvy professor Kianna all the man in him comes out!

Gianni was forced to come back home when he got injured, but he can't wait to leave momma Santinis and return home to be with Kianna.

Kianna is the sexy professor Gee met before his deployment. She is older than he is but that don't stop the instant attraction. They can't seem get enough of each other.

I love how they confess their love for each in the very spot they met..

Another AWESOME SEXY HOT READ!!! I can't wait to read about Vince!! I Love The Santini Brothers!!

So far I have enjoyed this series and Gianni does not disappoint. What I love about this book? Everything. I love the interaction that he has with his family and also the camaraderie that they have with one another. Kianna is great and I love that she was no simpering miss, but a grown woman who after much talking to herself decides to give Gianni a chance. One thing as to why I didn't give it a 5 star review is that it was too short and I wanted to know more about their relationship. But overall is a great continuation to this series and can't wait for Vince's story, the last Santini standing.

Oh my! The Santini men just keep getting hotter. Gianni Santini is a PJ in the Air Force stationed out of Valdosta, GA where he meets college professor Kianna Jones. Kianna is older, curvy, and not looking for love with a man in any kind of uniform. But Santini men never back down from a challenge and Gianni may just be in for the fight of his life.
This is a quick smoking hot read from one of my favorite authors. Ms. Schroeder has intimate knowledge of the military and brings that realism to her stories.

I have a feeling I'll be reading this series again...and possibly again.
Apart from a couple of small timeline type issues...because I can be annoyingly picky about those kind of details, I am really enjoying this series.
May 24th is not long away but I really wish it was today because I want to read Vicente story now. Thanks for the teaser at the end of Gianni :)
Being in Australia it means I actually have to wait for the 25th...and I also usually wait until ARe have it...sigh

This series is really sweet, I totally recommend it.

I loved the first two Santini books but I have to say this is my favorite. I love Gianni's attitude and playfulness. Kianna is the perfect person for him. She has a seriousness about her that helps counter Gianni. I also like his attitude that age is just a number.

Gianni Santinis, known to his family and friends a Gee meets Dr. Kianna Jones the day before he is to be deployed for two months. They spend his last day together having fun and exchange contact information. After two months of correspondence, they know each other pretty well and Gee comes home wounded with a stop in Virginia at his parents for a week.

The romance moves quickly. The attraction between Gee and Kianna is stroy full of fun and lots of hot sexy times. He gets serious; they stop communicating and have to figure out how to get back together if it will work for them in the long run.

Very similar to book one and two. Boy meets girl. Boy loves girl. Girl is reluctant to admit it They fight over it. They get engaged. Even the sex - the Brothers with the same phrases and that to me is odd. Or lazy writing not to use different ways to say it.

Short books but did get a lot in them. Didn't feel like it went way to fast not to be missing a few chapters. Fast in some ways but some relationships are that quick when it's right.

And could you at least ONCE in three books say what a PJ is. I had to google it.

Who said that finding love meant that you had to be she compatible? Kianna didn't think that she'd ever find herself in love again, then along came the handsome, younger Gianni. There were some ups and downs with their relationship, and I had my fingers crossed throughout the book. I was so grateful when Mel wrote a for them to work things through!!

Gianni is the youngest of the Santini's. He is a PJ. Kianna is a widow and a professor. She is not looking for romance.
They meet at the Sweet Shop and he just has to get to know her. She wants to dissuade him because he is younger. Can she fight her feelings for him? Can Gianni break down her walls?
