We love these books so much! In this one, Liz wants to enter art into a competition to maybe be featured in a famous artist's show. They're watching a ferret for the weekend and the ferret ruins her painting. She makes it work and realizes that art may never be perfect but it can still be beautiful.

In this book, Liz tries to make a perfect painting of the lake to get into a art show. But then, Cleo, a ferret the critter club is pet sitting, accidentally spills a bunch of blue paint on it when it's almost done! But then, the artist from the art show, Ms. Su, picks that perfectly imperfect painting to win and be in her show!
