Hirohiko Araki ( 荒木飛呂彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He left school before graduation from Miyagi University of Education.

He enjoys the baseball manga Kyojin No Hoshii (Star of the Giants); the video games Mario Kart and Bomberman; and likes Prince and other African-American singers, as well as jazz, rock, and rap.

He is a recipient the Tezuka Award for manga.

- the names always crack me up. I mean, Weather Forecast? Sports Maximum? lol.
- an evil priest? I love the variety of villains' occupations in this series.
- I love it when we figure out the Dio connection, because there always has to be one.
- it's raining frogs!
- another revenge story!

Araki's art is sometimes so busy it's hard to tell what's going on, but the story picks up nicely in this volume.
