Okay. Six volumes in, I think I'm calling it quits.

I can't stand how juvenile the FMC is and I need more emotions from Kyoya (sporadic displays of possession, jealousy, or care isn't cutting it anymore).

This volume follows Erika and Kyoya visiting his mom for the summer in Kobe. It's nice seeing other characters and more about his past. Then it's helping out at the cafe. This volume was soooo drawn out and I'm getting more frustration than enjoyment so GOODBYE WOLF GIRL AND BLACK PRINCE.

I might pick up the following volumes for funsies, but good riddance.

Kyouya's older sister came to Tokyo from Kobe.
She's a scary woman. Somewhat I know why Kyouya has that kind of attitude LOL.

Erika finally met Kyouya's mother. His sister bring her to Kobe to meet their mother.
There's a revelation about Kyouya's family that he always keeps it as a secret.

Kyouya is still cold, as always. But I think he becomes lil bit more open up and can show his feelings towards Erika.

I wonder when we can finally meet the sweet and romantic Kyouya.. I wanna see it so bad!!

Even when he's so Tsundere like this I like him. I'll definitely fall for him even more if he became a romantic person LOL

Kyoya and Erika have been dating for a while and now it's summer vacation! And a not-so-chance encounter means we (and Erika) get to meet Kyoya's family (minus dad cause he's on a business trip).

Gotta say... I don't like his sister. When the first thing she does is slap him across the face for seemingly no reason (and it's not the first time she does it) her likeability dropped to nearly zero. If it had been something like a shoulder punch or cheek pinch or ear pull or even a headlock, it would've been better.

This series has 16 volumes.

I hate everyone in this manga. I’m super surprised that I’m still reading it tbh.

I’m currently a few chapters into volume 7 and I hate the MC and the male love interest. Everyone is sooo dumb and sexist it’s disturbing. The male loves to refer to the Mc as “my woman” and loves to say that she “belongs” to him, like last I heard she’s a a human being so she can’t belong to anyone. The possessiveness and the bullying is so toxic and abusive and it’s played off as “oh well we’re a happy couple”.

The only thing that I may consider a positive is that I can’t put it down for some reason. I suppose I’m curious to see if anything will change but I’m seriously debating wether or not I’m gonna start reading Volume 8.

This one was good but oof. We get to meet Kyoya's family minus his dad and his sister is an interesting lady. She also made a "great" first impression. Kyoya's sister ends up smacking him on the head a lot. Other than that it was a great volume!! I love how the story is going and I also love the art as well.

I was almost ready to give up on this series, but this volume was the best yet. Sure, Kyoyo is still not the best at communicating, but he’s finally opening up to Erika, and it was sweet to see him start to reconnect with his mom. I loved seeing Erika defend him so strongly - it really helped his sister realize how much he has changed since he met Erika. He’s honest with his sister that dating her isn’t just a whim that’s going to pass, and she can tell it’s the truth. Kyoyo might thing Erika is over the top and ridiculous sometimes, but he appreciates how deeply she cares about things and is always going to have her back, from helping her find her lost necklace, to taking her place at the cafe. (Though his face when he saw her in that maid uniform was priceless.) Hopefully they will continue to grow together.

I can see on Goodreads that this series has quite a few more volumes that haven't been published in English yet. I think I'll probably stop reading here, at least for a few years. I prefer the author's other work, Ima Koi, and would recommend that one over this one as a whole.

I like sata's family, they seemed fun and sweet. A divorce is always hard on kids, it explains some of his anti social behavior and overall bleak outlook on romantic relationships, though It doesn't justify how he thinks or treats others. And his perfect appearance probably developed through his parents' relationship and his need to always portray this princely image. I think he probably did it as like a coping mechanism to show whatever happened in his family didn't affect him. And honestly, when you see things don't work out for your parents, it automatically makes it feel like, it wont-work out for you either or you just distance yourself completely. So his feelings are valid in that regards, and obviously it's not healthy so it's good that he is opening up now. But I honestly wish there was more to Erika's character than just loving him like I want to know more about what she aspires to be, what her dreams are. It just seems like it all revolves around him and I know that's how it is in that age, but still, I feel like your character needs to be more fleshed out.

We meet Kyouya's big sister and his mother in this volume, who both seem to take a liking to Erika. While their relationship is somewhat strained given the separation, which is to be expected, they also have a rather unique way of communicating with each other and how they respond to their emotions and situations. Adding Erika into the mix seems to smooth some of the edges and even gives them a glimpse into his more emotional side, especially when he gets protective of Erika. We see a bit of jealousy and possessiveness come into play as well when they're trying to save the cafe. Really, the maid uniform really might have been going too far.

I love this series it's quickly growing on me as the relationship between Erika and Sata grows. They still have a ton of issues but they are figuring it out slowly. I love that the relationship is growing and we are seeing more from Sata to make Erika happy. This is a sweet romance and I'm enjoying every moment of it. I can't wait for the next one to arrive.

Fun but nothing really stands out. It’s hard to root for a couple where one person never seems to compromise and that’s all the other does. But the hitting, I didn’t like that (sister / brother). And I’m not sure how I feel about his mom. The cafe thing was odd and didn’t add much to the story for me.

First one in the series I've given a four stars to! I'm glad I stuck around, because while I liked the first few, it just felt like they were always missing something. Kyoya was always very hard to read, which was the main reason I felt I had a hard time sticking with the series, that and the fact that Erika just put up with his behavior.

I think the reason this one stood out and officially got me re-hooked was that this manga (to me) found the perfect blend of Kyoya's prickly personality, but protectiveness of his girlfriend. Not to say that volumes 4 and 5 didn't start shifting in that direction. This volume just felt more rounded out and developed.

I've peaked at volume 7, and while I don't anticipate enjoying that direction of the story, I at least am now looking forward to watching Kyoya and Erika's relationship develop more than I have in the past.

I really can't decide if I like this series or not. I'm interested in the characters and the story, but there's a level of tsundere beyond tsundere that borders on just plain mean. I really like all the backstory that came out here, but we end on THAT setup? I thought we made progress in Kobe, but maybe not.
