Enjoyable enemies to lovers PNR.
A magic-less witch is invited to a PN school [witches, wolf shifters, vamps, etc] and crosses paths with an irascible older shifter professor. Her family is full of skilled witches and so this invitation is at least an opportunity to escape the torments of her sisters. But Grace has no idea why she's been invited in the first place. Her mother gives her that gentle shove in the right direction, but we have no idea why she's there either. Things start off badly when her first class gets her public humiliation from her professor... which feeds into a dangerous hazing episode later that night. Grace is officially the bottom of the class until that same professor saves her life.
Bad Boy Professor feels more YA-ish than other Waverly Sage books I've read, with a storyshifting twist at the end. But perhaps it's more of a coming of age story that leads into some rocking adult PNR adventures to come. I can hope. Because I'd truly like to read more about Grace and Rome. Two very strong characters and they've just hit their stride by the end of this book. Solid story and very very strong finish with openings for more. [Paige needs a story somewhere.] It feels like there is history yet to come for this PN world that's being built. I'm hoping this might be the start of a new series.

Romulus works as a professor for the pacific Academy of Magick ran by his good friend vampire John Thorne where witches, vampires and werewolf comes to "learn stuff" that wasn't that clear.
I really didn't like this story, difficult to keep up with, grammar errors and the story itself is just weird to say the least. Grace is the youngest of her 5 sisters and all of them got their powers except her, so she doesn't really feel confident in herself as she should be. She was invited to the Pacific Academy of Magick and her mom thinks this is great to kick start her powers. So the way you become a werewolf is by killing someone, you of course need to have that wolf gene but killing someone is kind of extreme. Immediately Romulus knew Grace was his mate, but he kept fighting it. In this book they made it seem that the wolf and man are not 1 but more the wolf is just a plain animal and doesn't care much for the man, since they mentioned the wolf hurting and scarring the man while shifting or maybe after. So Romulus being an alpha wolf didn't mean anything since he didn't know much about werewolves and the bonds. His friend kept encouraging to complete the bond but then at the end (& I do mean the end like chapter 18 out of 19) changed his mind and decided to try to kill Grace because he knew a mated alpha will be more powerful than him (so weird). Anyways I really didn't like it at all.

All's Fair in Love and War … especially when on the run
Should you even try to fight fate? Well, that all depends. It’s not easy going against what was meant to be, especially when life and death are on the line. Could running be the answer? Nope, can’t run away from what’s meant to be but that journey to the end won’t be easy. Remember that old saying: It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature.
This story has its moments…. at times you’ll find yourself laughing and other times saying ‘get on with it’ as this is a sloooow burn. I’m usually not a fan of combining genres but this one became an exception. Grace didn’t lose her magic because she never had it…. or did she? As a last resort she goes to an academy of magic to try to find it. There she meets a grumpy wolf professor who happens to be her mate, the mate he doesn’t want. No big deal, right? After all, she doesn’t want a mate either. But there’s one big problem with that. It’s a life or death problem…. No mate, no life!
🤔 OBSERVATIONS:
✒︎ It’s easy to skip over explicit scenes.
✒︎ It take a while for the story to pickup but don’t give up, once it all comes together the action is there… along with the prophecy
✒︎ I enjoy humor mixed in with seriousness and this book has both.

She Was A Witch Without Powers!
Grace had lived her life knowing she had no talents as a Witch. So when she was invited to attend a magic academy, she was shocked.
Romulus had lived life not wanting or expecting a fated mate, he was happy with his life and taught at the academy to support his friend but as soon as he caught site of Grace, wham he was hit with the knowledge that she was his fated mate. As Alpha, he didn’t want a Witch as a mate and he tried his best to keep away from her but his Wolf had other ideas.
He tried to hide his interest as much as possible but when she found out the truth he just couldn’t resist her and they fell head over heels into a relationship.
Ooh! What a fun read. I loved all the sizzling suppressed passion within the pages and how he tried his very best to keep away from her! An Alpha Wolf who didn’t set out to meet his soul mate.
What a heartfelt read and the shock near the end so unexpected!
Recommended read with a wonderful HEA.

I wanted to call this a slow burn but, honestly, it was just slow. I think this book would be more interesting if the pace were a little faster. It felt like it took several chapters just to establish the back story for the main characters and to even get to the prophesy and the mate bond. It starts to pick up, though, from that point onwards.
The story has a lot of promise, the characters are not your normal werewolf and witch, and the taboo of a teacher/student relationship gives this story spice. Thankfully, no one is underage so it's all good.
If there was a book on how to fight with destiny and fail at it, Professor Fray is probably, the author, and Grace was probably the one inserting those post-it notes along the way, lol! It takes a while but the story develops nicely.

Grace is the youngest in the family and is the only ‘normie’. Everyone else has powers except for her and her sisters let her know it! Somehow she receives an invite to the Pacific Academy of Magic.
Rome is a teacher at the academy and knows immediately that they are mates. He doesn’t want a mate and neither does Grace. What follows is an hilarious adventure where both try to break the bond until they realise that maybe it’s not what they want after all.
This is a great book with some wonderful characters. Rome is grumpy and grouchy, whilst Grace tries to be positive and friendly.
There are many hurdles to overcome and which kept me entertained until the final page.
I think that this could be a great series as there is so much left to explore.

Excellent!!! It was addictive and it was a page turner and the suspense was worth the wait and even more. I was at the edge of my seat and I can not stop reading or put it down not even for minute. Grace and Rome chemistry was like fireworks and their attraction was smoking hot. Rome was a sexy hot Alphas Werewolf as well he was a professor. There were manipulation going on between these two. But they have to save the magical world. There were betrayals going on throughout this entire story. It was spicy hot and steamy romance and there were a lot of drama and conflict . There's a lot going on in this book as we deal with a motley crew of vampires, witches, werewolf changers, and more. This is the story of Grace and Rome had a tense relationship from the beginning and did not want to be inferior to each other. But slowly that changed when both feelings come up and they can no longer suppress the attraction and desire for each other. This was a pleasure to read and is definitely recommended!'

Sometimes you just need something light and funny to read.
Bad Boy Professor in my case was exactlty this! Easy-to-read, sometimes hylarious, full of banter between the MC, Grace, the runt-of the litter witch with no access to her magic or no apparent powers at all, and professor Romulus Fray, grumpy and grouchy werevolf, who finds his unwanted fated mate in Grace and will do everything in his power to avoid mating her... An intriguing plot, wonderful characters, action and smut are the perfect ingredient to this new novel from Waverly Sage.

Bad Boy Professor is a spell-binding slow burn romance between an Alpha Wolf afraid to love and a witchy woman whose powers have not yet presented themselves. This well-written, dual point of view romance is by turns sexy, heart-wrenching, and action-packed. Waverly Sage does a fantastic job of weaving a beautiful world full of complex characters. I could not put this book down!!!

Wow!!! 🔥🔥🔥
What a Story!!! Wow just gets better. I absolutely loved loved loved this story too. The characters and storyline were amazing. From Witches, Wolves, and Vampires this just kept getting more and more interesting as it progressed. I loved the friendship between Grace and Paige. Rome and Grace weathered all of the storms. I’m glad she found her Magic and thrilled how it ended. I just wanted more of their story. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊😊

Rome and Grace are at odds with each other from the beginning, but soon find themselves unable to resist the sexual attraction. In this book you'll be pulled into the world of werewolves shifters, witches, vampires and a whole host of other secret creatures. Waverly has done it again by bring her readers another intriguing story.

Overall, enjoyable story. The ending was a touch surprising, which is nice. I didn't care for how long the hero fought against the bond.
I didn't give this 5 stars because of a few inconstancies in the story. One place it said no Alpha had found their fated mate, but another the hero mentions another teaching also being an Alpha, and she mentions her mate.

Ok read
A lot of inconsistencies in this book. For example his parents. He said they died when he was a kid, but then later as adults. I also would have liked to see the romance and their relationship build instead getting a quick telling of it.

Another brilliant story by Waverly Sage
WOW; firstly I could not put this down - another great story from Waverly Sage.
Grace has grown up as the youngest sister in a family of witches, and the only one not to develop any powers. When she receives an invite to a summer magic academy she’s unsure why but is encouraged to take it up by her mum.
Romulus (Rome), a werewolf, is the history teacher at the school and realises that she is his mate the instant he sees her. Being her teacher though, and having past experience which makes him want to keep his heart closed, he tries to find a way to reject the bond.
Then he receives a premonition that makes them both reassess the situation. He enlists her help with searching the library, in return for training with her magic.
A brilliantly fun story, which I really could not put down. Fantastically written characters, romance, action, adventure and plenty of moments of light humor; with a great twist at the end.
