Decent book. A crime/ court case story that reminded me of some of the TV shows that are out now- lots of twists and turns. The ending left me sad but it was a good story

Excellent read. It gets down into the real methods behind preparing for the trial and gives you some insight into how the clues fit together to get to a conclusion. I found all the preparation very be interesting and informative as part of the case information. I did believe I had the end figured out and as it turned out, I did have the correct ending but the way the book got to that conclusion was different than the way I had figured out.

A good old-fashioned detective story. This would make a good TV series/movie. I liked Dutch and would read more of this series.

I did suspect the ending, but that didn't take away from the enjoyment, even if it did make me feel a little sad for Dutch and his lost friendshop.

Weak lawyer thriller. Case against the defendant is so weak no one would file charges or even arrest. Plus ending is bad.
