Maggie Brophy had married for life. She was devastated when Paul died after they had been married for only three years. A psychic promised that if she found the recipients of Paul's donated organs, she would find happiness. In spite of her confusion, Maggie tried to focus on God's promises as she searched for meaning in her life. Her love of horseback riding led her to a farm and the complicated existence of Jaime McKellar.
4.5 stars. This is the story of Maggie, a widow of 3 years, and Jaime, a widower of 9 years, finding each other and working through their grief, issues, and their guilt over moving on so quickly together. There is so much emotion in this book: grief, guilt, confusion, and love. A lovely, sweet story of moving on that I thoroughly enjoyed.
