A phenomenal book written by Paul Ramsey before he got a little too crotchity for my taste. It was written decades ago, but holds many profoundly revealing truths about what Christianity is supposed to be about. Definitely a progressive viewpoint, and a "must read" for anyone who typically sees the cloth without studying the fibers.
