This is a book for the Texas history fan. You should have a basic understanding of Texas' history before picking this up, because it is full of tasty little historical tidbits that general histories might gloss over.

Had some not really history items (a sample diary that would have been written?)....some interesting bits but not very complete

This book has good stories but they are arranged in a horrible way. It was extremely difficult to follow the history because they are all jumbled up in no chronological or theme order.
