In this 2nd installment, we see not much has changed in Tyra's life..or maybe it has. At times, mistakes tend to make us a little wiser..as long as we learn from them. Tyra seems to have put a head on her shoulders but sometimes the heart totally out weighs the head. As she comes face to face with her past, Tyra finds herself asking the same ole question: is it worth it or would she rather be single..especially with the deranged Rosslyn on the loose.

Overall, I enjoyed this read. It had some elements of suspense with a few twists and turns I didn't see coming. I felt the character development was on point and I liked the growth in some of the characters, mainly Tyra. However, I found the ending a little rushed. The beginning and middle were so detailed then the ending just hits you so fast. Years passed and very little detail was given. I felt as though if more details were added in the conclusion, it could have actually been the end of the series. But I will wait to see how the author spins the third book.

I really enjoyed this book...Shonda did not disappoint...at all...The story was definitely full of drama and suspense ...I did have to go back and read part 1 in order to remember these characters...so I recommend reading that if you don't remember... it makes the story that much better...but i must say what happened at the end to Michael was just wrong...I was not feeling that whole play out at all...I think that it should've had a better ending...but I look forward to reading book 3!

This book was really good. Sometimes Tyra act little dumb and I really wish they would have let Dahlia live so that Tyra could have had some kind of family
