Finished this a while back actually. I'm really behind on my books. This plus CLEP practice tests got me in shape for the actual test. I passed, barely, but only because this kind of math isn't my strong suit and I was self-studying. I was surprised that the actual CLEP had a lot more basic problems than I thought it would. I only passed by two points, so I suggest you use as many online and offline resources as I did to get a handle on the material. A lot of that had to do with time. I answered everything I knew, then as I ran out of time, I went back and selected random answers hoping for the best. If anyone's in need, feel free to message me about my study plan. CLEP out!

It only gets 4 stars instead of 5 because of the errors. Other than that, it really did give me a good base of what to focus on.

Unrated. In the end my son decided to take College Algebra instead of taking the CLEP test for it. For us, this book helped him to decide that the CLEP test was not for him. I cannot give any indication if it is a good preparation for the test.
