George Washington Carey (1845-1924) was an American physician known for his 'chemistry of life' publications, a subject which he referred to as biochemistry. Carey combined a mixture of religion, astrology, physiology, anatomy, and chemistry, themed particularly with a mineral-based theory of human disease to explain his views on human chemistry. He continues to be popular within new-age and homeopathic circles. In the context of a person viewed as a "human molecule," Carey was the first to state that a person's body is a "chemical formula in operation." Partial Contents: Redemption of Humanity; The Kingdom at Hand; Books Rejected by the Council of Nicea; Man was Made Upright; The Eternity of Perfection; God's Word Revealed; Great Pyramid; Optic Thalamus; The central or Single Eye; The Solar Plexus; Prophecies Fulfilled; Sacred Books of the East; The Mystery of Santa Claus Revealed; The Revelation of Hermes; The Secret Doctrine; Reincarnation; The United States Seal; Glossary.
Explains the Bible as a parable for the human body and kundalini awakening. Grueling at times, but a nice esoteric read. The anointed one is in reference to a divine cerebrospinal fluid, sacred stems from the word sacral - the lower part of the spine. All sorts of fun stuff in here. According to Carey, Christ was never a real person, but was known to early "primitive Christians" (the Essenes) as an inner bodily force which could rise up the spine to the pineal gland 'Pinnacle of the Temple' under proper bodily energy conditions every 29.5 days. When the moon is in your birth sign. The council of Nicea went to great lengths to suppress this ultimate knowledge of divinity being a force within everyone, and portrayed Christ as an actual character roaming the lands. Totally unique and entertaining read, not what I was expecting, connects a lot of things together - some of which resonates with me.
Man is not solely created in the image of God, God is waiting to be acknowledged and revivified within the very cells, the soul of man. A soul willing to be in alignment or to be guided by divine will which is vibrant and wholesome (holy) is the actual resolution of all other ills and blockages of any and all kinds. In responding to the calling of understanding and in valuing our freedom to breathe, think, feel , speak and act, we may truly renew and heal our concept of the world and the whole of humanity.
This little book is truly a remarkable work of esoteric wisdom. Nevertheless, it presents a challenging reading experience due to its rough flow. However, the valuable insights it contains make it well worth enduring. Through the use of statements, fables, parables, and allegories, the author reveals that the Scriptures delve into the chemical, physiological, anatomical, and astrological operations of the human body.
The orthodox understanding of Christianity is completely shattered by the profound and enigmatic wisdom conveyed in this book. This book is in complete harmony with the doctrines of Clement of Alexandria and The Zohar.
The narratives of the doctrine are its cloak. The simple look only at the garment – that is, upon the narrative of the doctrine; more they know not. The instructed, however, see not merely the cloak, but what the cloak covers.” – The Zohar
“The mysteries of the faith (are) not to be divulged to all…It is requisite to hide in a mystery the wisdom spoken.” – Clem. Alex
God-Man: The Word Made Flesh serves as a pathway to the awakening of Kundalini and the attainment of our own salvation. It underscores the notion that salvation cannot be found externally, as the savior lies within us and it is our own duty to take ownership of it.
The wisdom contained in this book is certainly deserving of a five-star rating; however, I ultimately rated it a four due to its challenging nature.
God-Man: The Word Made Flesh argues that biblical scripture, myth, characters, and places are symbolic of the human anatomy and workings of the human body. Furthermore, when one understands this, the claim offers illumination in understanding ultimate enlightenment and spiritual wisdom. The belief is mainly supported by the translation of the origin of names, Greek, Hebrew, and Latin mostly, and supporting phrases from the Bible that read as metaphorical to these meanings. As one reads, they will find that the anatomical descriptions are quite scientific and technical. The esoteric study is equally impressive and vast.
I’d recommend this book to anyone who is open-minded and has spiritual interest.
Good read. Very informative. A little eccentric in it's layout and flow. But stick with it. The wisdom within is real. For more complete and modern discussions see Kelly-Marie Kerr and Victoria LoaLou. The God Design and The Science of the Sacred Secretion respectively.
1920s english, not as difficult a read as The Devil's Pulpit, but some old scientific anatomical language at parts. I did not expect him to talk about Daniel, I read this because Santos Bonacci Recommended it during our Interview with him.
The book does not provide much for sources or references other than saying what a word means in the greek etc. but from what I know I would approve of some of the words, just maybe not their entire message.
This book really interprets the bible physiologically, but does not provide much evidence proving that this is a true physical event, but uses the word psycho-physical seed. This seed is the christ oil that is intended to raise the vibration of brain cells by the practice of saving the semen seed. "I will draw all men (semen) to myself"
Certainly an interesting book, just not too persuasive or cohesive. I also hardly know anything about the author after reading it.
Good read if your into esoteric literature or just looking for alternative ways to view scripture from an intellectual approach as oppose to an emotional one. I would recommend rereading it to develop a better understanding of the message it’s trying to bring forth. What if these teachings prevailed instead of the literalist approach that’s mainstream today, how would have the world developed differently ?
This book changed my life,as a Virgo I have a lot questions about existance, the more I think things have no meaning and structure the more I get anxious about life and this book just answered a lot of questions about religion and spirituality,I did so by not moving far from what am familiar with,so change was easy
God-Man: The Word Made Flesh is a fascinating work that attempts to fuse astrology, physiology, and other such fields into a "Christian" framework. Sadly, the theology displayed is rather weak, and the author's understanding of Church history, lacking. An interesting and perhaps important work, this is not a book I would recommend to learn or understand Christian Esotericism.
Un libro que explica de forma esotérica la relación de muchas analogías bíblicas con el cuerpo humano. Un libro recomendado a todo aquel quiera descifrar enigmas relacionado al campo energético y la iluminación espiritual.
If you are into symbolism and allegory of stories of the bible then this book is highly recommended, to a certain extent it does describe the magnum opus!
Important point of view for anyone looking to uncover the mysteries of existence. I had never heard of a concept like this before and I think I can stand for the message. It surely made an impact on me in a practical-spiritual way. The downsides of the book are the author repeating the same message over and over, sometimes in a copy paste manner across chapters. The book was also missing some illustrations referred to in the book. Sometimes it felt like some AI software threw random chapters inbetween.
If you’ve not heard about awakening the seed/kundalini within you before, this is a good read despite it’s flaws.
Provides a very interesting rendering of the Biblical stories by translating them into esoteric guides to the human anatomy for the purposes of regeneration.
Good book for exploring the esoteric (hidden) meaning behind religious texts. Dynamos (our relation to and influence on, the Sun), balance, laws of nature, etc are also explored in this book. Read with an open mind.
Wow. A bit tedious but worth the read if your into esoteric or the occult. It made me develop a new appreciation for the Bible. What a terrible thing religions have done.
This book is one of the most eye opening things I've ever read. It answered questions I've had my entire life, while simultaneously keeping me wanting more. Truly Great Book.
