Within a two-hour drive of Cincinnati, discover the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and Kentucky's Red River Gorge Geological Area.
I try not to read other people's reviews before I write my own, but I did this time. I thought that the review that was complaining about King's Island being mentioned was really unfair. Yes, it was a little weird that King's Island was in there when it's three minutes from our house, I do believe it was the only destination listed that was in the greater Cincinnati area, which isn't really AWAY from Cincinnati. But anyway, the rest of the book was good. Some of the stuff wasn't appealing at all to me, but I did get some good ideas for weekend entertainment this year. Lots of things I didn't know about before, that I am now excited to see. It's a great book for someone who is eager to travel around Ohio (and Kentucky and Indiana)and would like ideas for where to go. I liked how the author made special notes of where to see Fouccault pendulums too!
Pointless. If you live here I think you have already heard about a little place called Kings Island. Then on the other extreme, who the hell is gonna drive to Vandalia to see the Trapshooting Hall of Fame?
