She became one of the Infected, given both great power and a crippling emotional disability that has controlled her life, like tens of thousands of others.
Her ability of profound invisibility has isolated her from the world, leaving her virtually stranded, like a castaway on a desert island, even while she's near others constantly. It's been both a curse, and a blessing, since her crippling shyness makes it nearly impossible for her to deal with people for any length of time.
Now though, things are shifting rapidly in her life. Thanks to some new technology, and a few new skills, Penny is learning to come out of her shell, which is a thing that will shake her world on a level that no one expects.
Because Penny Cooper isn't everyone's little wall flower at all... and never was. She's someone far more deadly, and possibly evil, than anyone has ever imagined her to be.
P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line. Or visit his forum: http://pspowerbooks.com/phpBBF/index.php
In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!
Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!! ]]>
Another wonderful book to this series, I like the development of Cellophane in this book and the interaction he has with different characters, also the irony in this series where the biggest leaders of the opposition against the infected are in turn infected themselves just living while hiding it. I have to congratulate the author in giving us really hateful villains there will not be lost sleep over their ending. This book is a nice view into Penny mind and understanding what has it been for her living the way she has since she became invisible.
Penny, our invisible girl whose first mode is social anxiety, turns out to be quite a bit more devious than I believed her to be. Well, she's Pirate Penny after all, Arr! (Seriously, that aspect of her I absolutely adored, it was so funny and adorable!) But nevertheless, she's worse than Pixie. (Wtf girl?! Even if they don't know about it, some things are just highly questionable!)
Book 5 is, who would have thought it, still about Bigotry. And it's still not getting any better. We get to know more about the IPB and how it works, get some Penny backstory and explanation, and also a lot of character growth. She still remains a childish 19-year-old (with a gun. And no hesitation to kill if she thinks you deserve it), but she becomes more playful instead of shy. It also helps when she actually starts learning to use her ability. So recommended!
Onwards to book 6! It's about Tobin, my favourite goblin!
