I have to say, the synopsis for this one REALLY pulled me in and I was excited to start. In a nutshell, here’s what we’ve got:
Drew has moved to Seattle to reinvent herself after a painful breakup. She’s not ready to date just yet but after an elevator ride with Adam Knight, the hottie from a few floors up at her office; things start to look up for Drew. But just when she’s ready to move things along with Adam, her ex pops back up in the picture wanting a second chance at their relationship.

It all begins with the elevator scene. Adam, nervous around beautiful girls finds it hard to talk to Drew. He ends up getting crazy advice from his crazy friends, Gloria and Davey (who are hilarious and need a book of their own!), to take some advice from some popular romance books. You’ll definitely recognize the line he uses from the very popular book, Bared to You by Sylvia Day, when he finally gets the courage to talk to Drew. And it’s not just her book that gets a shout-out in this one!

Adam is definitely book boyfriend material despite not being the typical bad boy we always come to love. He’s nervous around pretty girls and doesn’t know what to say to them but his heart is definitely in the right place. He’s ready to find that special someone to settle down with – the only question is will Drew choose him over Joe if and when she’s ready to give love another go?

Their relationship starts off slow and sweet but quickly evolves to them feeling things for one another and wanting to do things for and with one another that they’ve never done before. But don’t forget the ex is back in the picture to make things messy. And you’ll never guess how that part of the story ends up – it definitely threw me for a loop and I love when you can’t see what’s coming!

Overall, very cute!

what I liked: I loved Drew and Adam together; it was very cute; Davey and Gloria added a ton of humor to the story

What I didn’t like: the writing could have been stronger. The conversational scenes were VERY well written and those are what connected me to the characters. The other scenes, however, felt rushed and more of a summary in order to speed the time line up. It switches between 1st and 3rd person when the POV switched which was a little confusing.

Oh my this was not what I was expecting....this shit was funny, a great story thru and thru.
We start Adam Mr. low self esteem, really he is gorgeous in that nerdy kind of way with being a goober around pretty girls. he dates not so attractive girls with hopes he will magically love them or at least... like them but it always falls flat that's why he is currently alone. it's not that he's horrid or anything just not that aggressive type I'm used to, he's the meek one that needs coursed out of his shell and then it's on. well with the help of his friends Gloria and Davy (Now they are too funny giving him advice ).

Drew, had to work hard to get into and pay for college... she just left a long relationship and while it's still fresh in her mind she's gets the push she needs form her friend Amy (she's funny too). Drew has that kind of look that is beautiful and doesn't know it type and she is guarded careful not to give her heart to anyone. She starts a new job at Amy's work and meets everyone from CREEPY Ned, to Adonis..oh, I mean Adam. She like Adam but is skittish, about talking to him (he's just as afraid of her too..lol).

Adam enlist the help of his friends Davy and Gloria and Oh. My. Gosh. they give him some books to better "inform" him about girls, and I laughed my butt off they gave him 50 shades, and Bared to You, them stick them in a bag for him so people won't think he's gay, as he's carrying them out ( I'm telling you Davy and Gloria are hysterical). After reading these books Adam get's ballsie and pushed the emergency stop and kisses Drew, shocked Drew kisses him back. Adam wants' his forever girl and Drew is just the girl to fill that slot, no more waiting.
They begin a relationship and they meet each other's family and they are polar opposites Adam's family is well off and Drew comes from a old hardworking family. This doesn't change the dynamics of their relationship, but gives better understanding to the characters, as to their family lives and how they become who they are. Over all this book is great, it's funny and has likeable/ believable characters I wish Adam was real because they guy that all the girls want (good and naughty all in one :} ) The book ends as it begun with Drew taking one last look at the life she led, and with the promise of a bright future ahead. Ok quit listening to me ramble on about this book...go grab your copy

If you like a good romance with a lot of humor, a hot guy and steamy sex then you should definitely check this one out.

When opportunity presents itself, how far will you go to make sure it doesn't pass you by?

Adam had waited a life time it seemed, to meet a girl like Drew. She was smart, funny and beautiful, but every time he’d tried to talk to her, someone or something had interfered.
He couldn't believe his luck when the elevator opened and Drew stepped in. The door had shut behind her, leaving her alone with him in the car. This was the chance he’d been waiting for. He couldn't let this one slip away.
Decision made, he moved to the control panel then pressed the emergency stop button…
