Juliette (Jewels) Madison is on trial for the brutal murder of her husband Marcel Madison. Whether or not she killed him is not the question, because she was found soaked in his blood. What her high profile defense team must prove is that she acted in self defense. But as the case unravels and her raunchy, violent and greedy lifestyle is exposed, Jewels doubts if she'll ever see the light of day again. To make matters worse, she desperately tries to prevent her dirtiest marriage secrets from being exposed. First Comes Love, Then Comes Murder has all the raw, explicit and jaw dropping gore that fans have come to expect from Reign. Read at your own risk.
I'm happy that I decide to read this book. First Comes Love, Then Comes Murder by Reign (T. Styles is a good book. T. Styles did a good job. She takes her time to reading this book. It's dealing drama, lie, heart breaking and betrayed.
Marcel and Jewel are an example of First Comes Love, Then Comes Murder. One is jealous and hateful and other want to get our situation to their relationship. I'm looking forward to read more about this author. Hopefully, I can read part 2 of this book.
This book has been sitting on my book shelf for the longest. I finally decided to read it. Once I started reading it every chance I got I was in this book. I love how the author went back and forth from the courtroom to actual events to lies and cover ups.
Jewels is on trial for killing her husband Marcel. From the day she met him she seem to be living in hell. I won't give away too much but this book was soooo good. I don't know how Jewels stayed with Marcel for as long as she did. The ending was a little far fetched and unbelievable but this story is still one you will enjoy! If you wanna read a book that will have you on your edge your seat and will keep you guessing to the very end pick this one up!
This has to be T. Styles most underrated book. After hearing so many good things about it, I decided to give it a try. From page one, I was engrossed in drama. I found myself screaming at the characters and their constant unruly behavior. My constant thought throughout the book is when Marcel showed Jewels who he was in the beginning…she should've believed him, because he turned out to be a brutal bastard. I don't know what kind of hold he had on all those women, but I do know that I want no parts of it! The ending left me wanting more, but I don't think my heart could take it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was an intriguing read by T. Styles. I loved this book! For me, this book was so easy to get into, I was finished before I knew it. From the time Jewel arrived to the US in a suitcase until the story ended, I was swept away with the events that were told. Jewel's version of her relationship with Marcel & the added twist helped make this an exceptional story & one that I highly recommend!
What can I say? This was a very good book. It looks like there could be a part 2. I hope so. I would like to know more about Garrick and also see what's gonna happen between Jewelzs and Marcel.
This is an amazing read, full of everything between love and hate. I just read the second half in one sitting. I just couldn't put it down. That ending though! I need the sequel!
I believe this is T Styles most underrated book and yet it was a good read. The lies and deceit made this a page turner and I loved the ending. Was not disappointed
It is one book you HAVE to read, then go back and put the pieces together because everything you thought you knew, you were so wrong!
Jewels, all I can say is during her childhood I was so worried about her. She was thrust into situations that she shouldn't have been and her mother really loved her and hoped she understood why she was fighting so hard to protect her. Growing up, she didn't realize it until that day at the trial and felt so bad about what she currently was going through. It was many times during the story I felt for Jewels during her relationship with Marcel. I felt that she was a sucker in love for not really experiencing genuine love. As the story unfolded, I just stopped feeling for her and here is why.
First, with Marcel, he showed who he was and explained countless times he wasn't going to change. When she allowed him to continue to disrespect her, at first I figured because she wasn't taught that you show people how to treat you or shown true love. That is, she ran back to both men who wanted to genuinely love her when Marcel didn't treat her right or she wanted to threaten to leave him. Her running to both men (and I was heated with what happened to Wade) wasn't because she wanted a chance at love and to be loved correctly, it was to play with Marcel and make him into something he wasn't. She continued with the drama with Marcel, and it was weird she would allow herself to go through the disrespect (pissing in her face) with really loving him. Even when she was with Wade, she truly fell in love and see what real love was.
Her keeping certain parts of the truth hidden during the trial was understandable, especially when the truth of what happened with Marcel was genuinely in the best bet... Until
The truth came out of why she went through all the things she did. To secure her lifestyle that she was used to. It makes me wonder if Wade would've gone through the same fate or if she would've used their relationship to help create another storyline for herself as a writer and to ensure she will have the lifestyle she needs.

Amazing! I have to be honest I was looking for a lesbian book , couldn’t find one so I decided to read another one of T.styles book because her other ones were off the chain , I wish I had read it sooner !!! So damn good !
This little girl founds herself stuffed in a suitcase on a plane to freedom, after her mother goes to work and return to find Juliette is caught up in a ring, where her uncle was about to sell her for some drugs. After begging a lady to take Juliette with her to rise as her own, the lady refuse and that’s when Juliette mom kills her and take her identity and takes her daughter to freedom. Once to freedom her mom did the best she could but one day she couldn’t take it no more and walk out in front of a bus. Life without her mother was very hard but she listens and learned and as time goes on her life becomes a horror story about love that turns into very ugly murder.
With all the present and past in court of the trial really pulls you into the story of Jewels life of a mixer of the truth and untruth that is told on the stand. The characters, time and places is realistic to make you believe that it really happen to Jewels the way she tells it. Some parts Jewels plays on the feelings of the court of the abuse of the hands of her husband. Some parts you would say Jewels you are so stupid, you leave and come back. As the life of Jewels marriage is played out I can say until death do us part?
This book didnt grab me as much as previous Reign/T.Styles books but it was still interesting. There were times when I wanted to murder Marcell because he was ruthless and without remorse. There were also times when I wanted to strangle Jewels because she was so damn stupid. The book was written in a different and interesting format that switched from the courtroom to past events. It was nice to hear how Jewels gave her version in court when compared to the truth. Still I wish that more scenes were expanded upon. The sick and twisted mind of the T.Styles that I have come to know and live didnt emerge until late in the book and even though I appreciated it it made me cringe a little which I loved. First Comes Love, Then Comes Murder was filled with drama, twists, turns, and surprises but it didnt give me the WOW factor that I was looking for. However I am a fan of the author and I always look forward to he future work.
Reign (or should I say T.Styles) has definitely done it again with her latest book " First Comes Love Then Comes Murder". This book started off a bit slow but soon turned into a tale of lies, deceit, and murder. Everyone was a suspect. I found myself wanting to skip to the end just to see how things were going to play out! Fingers crossed for a part 2! 4.5 stars
Oh my, my, my! I hope there's a part two in the making! The things people do and put up with for money! After all the abuse that Juliette endured from Marcel, those two deserve one another; she became just as deadly as he is! I guess Garrick really did love Juliette; she endured hell just to end up his wife after all!
This book was crazy as ever omg I guess low self esteem and abuse will bring to these moments. Ms. Honduras was trip. She endured a lot but gave bad some too. Will she be able to live this happily ever after life? Huh? Maybe the ghost won't let her. Thanks for the good read. Thanks
Wow! This was a great read for me. I absolutely loved how this author laid out the storyline .i picked this book up and could not put it down until I finished the next day, not sure if there will be a sequel but I'm hoping that there will be one. Poor jewels is all I can say....
Nice read. I enjoyed the interweaving of the current and past. It made the book more dynamic and caused me to wonder that exactly "The Truth" was while I was listening to the testimony. Definite page-turner. Finished in a couple of hours.
It took me too long to read this book. It would get interesting then slow down but I'm still a fan and will.read this author's work.because she is an awesome writer, the book ended with me wanting more.
