Princess Saralinda is in trouble again. This time, she's vanished into the caverns of the evil Time Master.
As the wizard you will take with you the Book of Spells. You will be master of all it's mysterious magic. As the warrior, you will take the Book of Weapons. Its complete arsenal is yours to use with your legendary skill. Magic or sword? Whichever you choose, play the game wisely, and the glorious legend of the Wizard and the Warrior will live on.

This was fun! I enjoyed this choose your own adventure book more than the other two in the series we've read so far. ... The Time Master... was a tough adversary for my gf and I, but after a few deaths we won. I read it out loud to her while she made the choices.
As with other CYOA books, I dislike having to hold the places in the book with choices in case we need to go back after a bad decision.
The characters don't really develop. You can read as The Wizard or The Warrior who have no other names. King Henry is who sends them on the adventure to rescue his daughter Princess Saralinda from... The Time Master.
The pacing was good, the crossroads with choices were fun.
I happened to still have this book stored away and decided to give it a read as a blast from the past from my elementary school days. It is still a fun book. I remember fondly reading these kind of books as a more advanced Choose Your Own Adventure-style book.
