It's disappointing that a book designed to produce young readers ends with the kid saying, "Can I watch TV now?" like it's the greatest reward he could have.

I had completely forgotten about this book until I ran across the cover online!! I got it and read it again and the nostalgia was just overwhelming; I remember loving Drat the cat as a child.

This story has cute animal characters like Drat the cat, but it could be more clearly written. Miss Happ is an interesting character to say the least.
