This was a thrilling read and a real page-turner...highly recommended for anyone who wants an entertaining who-done-it for escape or pleasure. You'll guess and guess again throughout the book. It has all the elements of an engrossing read: a terrific female protagonist with an attitude that won't quit and a psychic skill that adds drama; a decades-old unsolved mystery by a murderer who appears to still be on the prowl; a budding romance (but which charming detective will she choose?), and lively, witty repartee between the main characters that is at times laugh-out-loud funny. Even the ancillary characters are appealing or intriguing.

This is a first novel for this author (who also lives just a few miles away from me), and I will definitely be looking for the next in the series. This book would be perfect to be made into an action/thriller movie...Sandra Bullock as Devin Dushane...oh yeah!

I didn't have a clue, I was shocked!

I always enjoy a good detective story. The main character, Devon Dushane, a no nonsense, tough female detective solved her aunt's thirty year murder. I was especially drawn to the title of this book. I couldn't believe who turned out to be the devils among them. This was a real page turner.

Wanted this book not to end. I was surprised with the ending. Main characters connected with each other in many different twists .. I would recommend this book highly.
