This book reminds me a bit of Prince of Wolves. Although I did find the characters a bit less annoying in this one. Lots of funny one liners. Good characters. I thought the change into a werewolf was too tame. I don't think a new turned werewolf would be that calm. In fact there wasn't a lot of werewolfness in this book. yes, I did just make that word up. The only really normal werewolf behavior is that they have soul mates and they live in packs with an Alpha, the rest just seem like stocker drama. Now I'm in no way saying I hated this book cause I didn't and the cliff hanger ending has me wishing for book two. So mixed feelings all around.
I enjoyed the story line. It was funny and the chemistry was off the hook. The girl was interesting and totally drew me into the story it was totally fascinating.
The cliffhanger totally stunk but hey it is what it is.
This book is such a great story of true love, growing up, and discovering your inner strength to become the person you are destined to be!! I love the love triangle!! Team Zen always!! :) I can't wait to see what this extremely talented author comes up with next!
need the next book ....ahhh I hate that I LOVE this book and now have another unnamed sequel to wait for. that said really did remind me of Quinn Loftis but enjoyed it all the same :) bravo!
I gave this novel a higher rating than it probably deserved as it wasn't all that hard to guess what was going to happen. I found some of it boring and long winded because parts of the novel didn't need to be there. Also, why couldn't they just form a triad, a mating with both werewolf males? I didn't understand how she just had to pick one. Seems silly to me.
It didn't work for me. Everything and everyone in this book were too easy. Too calm, too trusting, and I didn't get the idea of meeting of soul mates. Like, are you trying to make it like a twist of the Twilight or something sans the vampires with the love triangle? I mean, did you have to make another sequel for this?
