Rate this book
On 28 April 1996, a gunman opened fire in and around the Port Arthur Historic Site on Tasmania's Tasman Peninsula, killing 35 people and seriously injuring many more.

Martin Bryant was arrested, charged and jailed for 35 counts of murder and numerous other charges. He will never be released from prison.

There were a large number of direct and indirect victims as a result of the Port Arthur Massacre. Many have spoken out, but one has remained silent: Bryant's mother Carleen.

This is her story.
