Pepper -- I’m in so much trouble. Though I’ve been with Dustin since I was sixteen, he’s not the man I thought he was. In fact, he’s turned into my worst nightmare. Graphic violence, adult situations, and references to human trafficking and domestic abuse that may be triggers for some readers. Features a grumpy hero and a feisty heroine. Eventual happy ending and NO cheating, as always.

Family History
I gotta respect Virgil "Rage" Weston for stepping aside and letting Pepper be with his (good for nothing) brother, Dustin, when he believed it was what she wanted. When the fissure between Pepper and Dustin became irreparable, I love how Rage rolls in.
I won't go into details on why things are beyond repair. Just know that Dustin has earned everything that happens to him and so much more. So. Much. More.
I love Pepper's courage to do what she does at the beginning. It's not even close to an easy decision, and I'm uncertain I could do it, but she makes what she feels is the best possible decision given the circumstances. She's such a nice girl... well, that is until Rage gets her in the bedroom.
Speaking of, they are on fire. 🔥🔥🔥 It's over-the-top, but I enjoyed the ride!
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Umi Markkanen, and she continues to deliver a worth listening to book.

Wow! As soon as I started reading this story I was intrigued, I was kept on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next and left with a huge smile on my face. Rage was so much more than I expected him to be. His understanding, kindness and love towards Pepper is a thing of beauty. I adored how protective he is and how loving and trusting she is with him. This may have been a fast paced story but it definitely packed a punch.

Another great addition to the Iron Tzars MC. Rage and Pepper’s story is one of those books to keep you awake til 2am. Just one more chapter…..lol. Pepper knows what she has to do to keep her small daughter safe. And she knows that Rage will certainly do that. What she doesn’t count on is that Rage also wants to keep her safe. Rage knows he wants Pepper and her daughter to be his and he will protect them both against anything, even family.

The name matches the man except when it comes to his woman and his club. Rage is the ultimate Alpha man. He knows what he wants and how to get, protect and keep her. His brother Dustin is really something else. But love and doing the right thing always wins!! Thanks to the author for this story. I highly recommend this 6th installment of the Iron Tzars MC series.

I love the men of Iron Tzars! Pepper is desperate and will do anything to save her newborn daughter. That includes leaving her with the man she believes hates her. Wow was she wrong! Hang on and find what it means to have the entire MC at your back and find out why they call your man Rage!

Every time an audiobook by Marteeka Karland becomes available to review, I get very excited. The story is always well written and riveting and the narration, by Umi Markkanen, is on point.
RAGE is no exception. I listened to it from start to finish in a binge-listening session because I could not walk away from it, it was so good. I was drawn immediately into the story and Umi’s voice acting made it come alive.
An Iron Tzars MC Romance, RAGE is about Pepper, who is on the run from a threatening ex and Rage, who is the ex’s older brother. Pepper is terrified and leaves her infant daughter at the gates of the Iron Tzars compound for Rage to take in and protect. The situation is complicated because Rage has been gruff and mean to Pepper because he wants her, unbeknownst to her. But it’s okay because unbeknownst to him, she wants him, too.
I liked the love story and how quickly they admitted their feelings for one another. There’s something about a man who is determined to make a woman his Ol’ Lady. Their love was intense and they fit together perfectly. And the zexytime was super, super hawt.

Rage knows Pepper, as she is his half-brother's (Dustin) girlfriend. Even though Rage has been there for Pepper, she thinks that Rage hates her, that he is there for his brother. When Dustin gets himself in over his head with some dangerous people, he tries to use Pepper and their daughter to save himself, Pepper has nowhere to turn but to Rage and the Iron Tzars.
Rage has always wanted Pepper and when she showed up with her daughter, he knew he had the chance to claim her and Cassie and make them a family. Rage is true to his name but is so gentle and protective with Pepper and Cassie. Dustin has no idea what he is up against and what Rage will do to protect what is his.
I absolutely loved Rage and Pepper's story. It was everything that I thought it would be and more! What a great addition to The Iron Tzars series!

Pepper realizes she needs to get her daughter safe. She knows she trusts Rage above everyone else. He is her boyfriend's brother. Seems Rage hasn't exactly been the nicest to her on occasion. He appears to have had his reasons. She soon realizes that Rage was there for her more than she realized. He has secretly wanted her for several years. There is a big age gap between them and that seemed to be part of his hangup. His brother was definitely not what he should have been to either Pepper or Rage. He was a lowlife who hurt a lot of people in his life. It was a quick, easy read and I liked how it ended for these 2.

I generally stop reading blurbs when they say brother's ex or anything that remotely screams love triangle. I had listened to other books by this author and MC so I kept reading. I thought to myself I will give it a try because I've enjoyed the others in this series. I'm glad I did because even Rage was Dustin's older half-brother, they weren't close. Rage always had interest in Pepper but wasn't going to try to poach someone's woman and he thought she deserved better than them both. Pepper had a lot of realizations and curveballs coming to her in this one. I loved Pepper and Rage together. Another quick listen with narrators that do a great job!

Rage has every right to be rageful especially at his brother, Dustin about his treatment of Pepper and the baby Cassandra. But there's more there - Pepper wants Rage (Virgil, ikr?!?) and Rage wants Pepper but there is a problem..not really Dustin but the 13 year age gap and the fact that Pepper is 16 when they meet for the first time.
The twist, turns, tumultuous chaos of the Pepper and Rage is perfect!!! Not a dull moment and neither has any idea about the other's wants.
I love that Umi gives a real voice and emotions to Pepper. And Rage's inner voice shows maturity and restraint until it snaps.
Soo looking forward to more from the Iron Tzars!!!

This is the 6th book in the Iron Tzars MC series, This is Pepper and Rages book
Pepper runs into some trouble with her ex and to protect her daughter, brings her to the Iron Tzars and leaves her daughter with Rage even though she believes he hates her. This is so from the truth it’s laughable.
Rage lives up to his name with the exception of his Pepper whom he rightfully believes over his awful half brother. This is a fast paced read with hot hot hot chemistry between them both you’d be silly not to buy this, Marteeka just keeps getting better and better!

Rage and Pepper's story is a gritty, fast paced, age gap read with lots of drama, excitement and of course plenty of heat. Pepper is in quite a mess with Dustin, Rages half brother. But brother or not, Rage has no qualms getting the problem resolved. The Iron Tzars keep getting better and better.

Pepper is on the run from her evil boyfriend and needs to leave her precious bundle somewhere safe so she gives her to Rage and tries to sneak away but ends up caught by the man she's been pining for for years. Such a great story with lots of rough spice that's deliciously yummy.

I expected so much more
This was just an OK read for me. I have had this on my TBR and anxiously awaited for the release date. I believe the story had so much potential but for some reason missed the mark. I imagined Rage as larger than life, but it just wasn’t the case.

Great book
Loved the characters, loved the story line. Age gap, hea guaranteed. Some surprises, drama, sexy scenes are all there. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Excellent. Those at the Iron Tzars compound with families are growing, and Rage's new family is no different. Passion and anger, long restrained and shocking secrets come out in this story but you can see the 6yrs have been tough on them all. Love the biker happy endings.
