I loved this book!! It had drama, comedy, hurt, and happy ever after. I laughed, groaned and cried. I put off reading it and am kicking myself for it but glad I finally read it!!!! I love how Molly Bryant can make you invested in ALL of the characters... not just one or two!
So enjoyed this sweet and sassy story. Everyone should have a Ben to love and tease and love again. So much fun. Last chapter/epilogue so great .Thanks for this quick and " make me smile "read Molly Bryant .
What a lovely and sweet story. I think this needs to become a Rom-com!! It would be so good. It has a "devil wears Prada" feel to it! I really loved it!
I was really disappointed in this story. The plot of the story was exciting to me but it didn't go the way I expected...in kind of a bad way. In the end, we did get the happily ever after but the plot points into getting to the conclusion were not what I would have liked. This story had such a great potential, but the author didn't rise to the occasion with the scenes. There were so many points the author could have gone when creating the drama of the story. The drama plots that the author did create didn't even make any sense. The arguments of the story came out of no where. First, it was all fine and dandy with Vanessa and Ben. Then, they would have arguments over ridiculous reasons. Like, when they first slept together and then they were having a lovely breakfast and a conversation to why Ben did what he did. Then, the plot took a quick turn, out of nowhere, and they ended up having an argument over nothing. The author could have done a better job in creating more interesting drama. Seriously, the author could have made Vanessa angry that Ben slept with Belinda, especially after bonding together. Vanessa could have been upset because that just proves to her that Ben was indeed a player. However, the fact that Ben slept with Belinda even though he said he was "in love" with Vanessa wasn't even brought to Vanessa's attention. Sure, Ben's inner monologue said he "sort of" felt bad but that was bullshit to me. That's just one drama plot point that could have completely changed the story for the better. I also wasn't impressed with the love scenes...the weren't hot and sexy but just plain and boring. I don't know, I just felt if certain things would have changed, this would have been a kick-ass 5 star book for me. However, it just wasn't up to par. Just an ok read to me. :(
This was a cute, funny and easy read, I actually finished it in a couple of hours! I enjoyed reading about Vanessa and Ben and seeing how much Ben loved Vanessa ever since they were little and all their sexual frustrations towards each other!
