Leila lived with her pack all her life. It was until she was forced into an arranged marriage that she ran away from home. She turned into a rogue and while running away from an Alpha, she ends up kidnapped by another one. The exception for this was one: this Alpha was her mate.
Spoiler: i am going to rant on the parts that really pissed me off so if you dont want some spoilers....
Ugggggggh....i just couldn't get through the whole thing.Leila just got on my nerves. I believe she has multiple personality disorder. She runs away from her pack and family because she doesn't want to marry the neighboring pack's alpha. which i can understand i mean who wants to marry some guy who is almost twice your.
So am thing yea this book is going to be good with a strong smart female lead.
BUt NOOOOOOOOO i got this bipolar chick who wants to act bad ass one moment then a scared little kitten the next.
Not really sure how to rank this. I really did not like Dylan at all. He came off as abusive to me. I wish her mate could have been Blake. I liked Blake, Eric, and Liam. Dylan just didn't do it for me. She was basically a prisoner. She was wishy washy to me. This always using seduction to get her point across was ridiculous. Use your words. Jace needed to be put in his place. The story needed to be a little more co-hesive. Good story-line though.
The female lead is fucking bipolar!! Don't have any idea what she's doing and I don't know how some people love her!!
Left halfway to the book, didn't even complete 10 chapters, there are times when it feels like you're young to burst into tears due to frustrating characters, and people here is the girl, I was so frustrated after reading her character who doesn't want a mate but still want to remain safe from her family which her mate cab obviously keep her but no...according to her he is bad alpha male and she is scared of him.
Girl!! If you know mates are supposed to love and care for you. Even the male lead is okay and is wanting to have HEA but the female is still confused af!!
Girl make up your damn mind!! Absolutely hated the character in just 10 chapters, don't know what would've happened it I had read the entire book.
How far are you willing to go to protect the one you love?
The Alpha Meets The Rogue us one of the most amazing story about werewolf out there! Once I start reading, I couldn't stop! Yeah this story is that good and addicting. Leila, the temptress. Dylan, the hero. Eric, the kickass side-kick. And Liam, the ladies man. The characters are all so witty, funny and amusing that you will never ever be bored! The romance between Leila and Dylan is more than magical and incredible! It is simply breathtaking. After reading this story, you will definitely want your own personal Alpha!♥
I like this book ..yet I don't! Leila will walk backwards for everyone but Dylan. She is supposed to be his mate but talks with Eric through her mind, tells him everything, lies to Dylan, choose Blake and Liam over Dylan, stand by Eric and doesn't want to leave him when Dylan just lost a pup with her and she hardly speaks to him...I could go on and on ... How are they mated but she always chooses everyone but him. It like he is just her toy for in the bedroom and to get the outcome she wants .... I started the second book but.., does this situation ever get better?!?!?

To be fair, I've read a lot worse werewolf-romance books out there and this one comes nowhere near them. Although this is not the most amazing story out there, I found it to be pretty decent and quite engaging. I enjoyed the plot and writing style well enough. Though maybe this book would be better received by a younger audience, as I can understand how characters get on readers' nerves at times. Nonetheless, no ragrets.
For me, this was my OG shifter book! This author wrote so well that I was surprised to find such quality writing on Wattpad back then. She introduced me to the world of shifters, packs, alphas and so on. I remember having so much fun reading her stories - this, the sequel, & Caine. Oh, the nostalgia! Sadly, I just learned that the author passed away. Talented writer, RIP.
This is a tribute more than a review. The author Olga Guevara was shot and killed along side her mother in Donna Texas on December 31, 2020. Her work will live on and because of that, she shall not be forgotten.
Does anyone know where can i purchase the book, an online version would do i absolutely love it but on wattpad are only a few chapters.. :( or if anyone has it in any sort of form and would love to sell i would buy it at reasonable price :) Thanks in advanc!
Right now I've been obsessed with Werewolf books and xXdemolitionloverXx has definitely became one of my new favourite authors.
Leila has been forced into engagement with an aggressive, old, widowed Alpha. But as her wedding day approaches she runs from her family and pack and becomes rogue. On her travels she rests in a stretch of land that she believes doesn't currently belong to a pack. But when the Beta (second in command) takes a liking to her ad she is introduced to the possessive Alpha of the Midnight Moon pack. The trouble is Leila is on the run and her mate, the possessive alpha refuses to let her go.
Dylan is the Alpha of the Midnight Moon pack, he was a carefree mateless man until her found Leila. An undetected rogue with his Beta. Instantly he feels the connection and realises that she is his mate, but he needs to protect her.
This novel is amazing, the strange connections between each character is amazing. I also love how each of the authors books are connected to each other; I suggest you read them all!!
(75% update) Absolutely HATE Dylan. He's WAY too controlling and doesn't like to listen to reason. I don't care for Leila either... She's the epitome of women using sex to get her way... ON EVERYTHING!
The story is good though, and if the author could work on her characters a bit, the story could be really good! I like the storyline, the bad-crazy guy, and some of the second characters. I might read the other stories if they are switching character views to Blake.
(Completion update)
It started strong, and I was glued until I got to about 50%, but then it slowed down and drug along. I became annoyed at the constant jealousy games. I get the author trying to put in some conflict to fill the space, but it drug the whole thing down. I had it rated at 2 starts around this point because it was getting so aggravating. I even contemplated on giving up, but I stayed with it. Once the fighting went back up around Chapter 35, and I became engrossed once again, bringing my rating up a star.
I love this book.... it is one of my fav in wattpad:) This book is a perfect mixture of action and romance and friendship.
You will fall in love with Dylan. I seriously want a mate like Dylan *sighs*, lucky liela. Eric is another one of my fav characters in the book... he is too cute and a true friend cum guard.
I am giving four stars because this book is definitely worth reading!!!
The author is currently writing a sequel titled "The Alpha Meets His Match". you can check it out in wattpad.
When I first read this book, it was interesting. Even swoon-worthy. But now I realize it was an okay read for me. A bit ridiculous because of the female character's weak and pitiful personality and the male character's demanding side. Maybe it was the plot twist towards the end that got to me...
2 Stars This book had potential....Sort of. The problem is that there is no plot really and the girl really annoyed me, she pouts all the time and whines, it just depressing. The guy needs anger-management and just pisses me off. It would have been a good story if the characters didn't have personality's of bricks and if there wasn't some much lovey-dovey stuff in it. End of review!!!
This story was going so good but suddenly the Leila started being a bitch..she was soo annoying for 70% of the book...she had faith in all the guys except Dylan :/ and Dylan did every damn thing to make her happy...the problems she created with all the ruynning and crying...Dylan should have been more strict to her -.0
The book was good at the start but it dragged on a lot! Personally I felt like the girl didn't know what she wanted, she what I feel like lead on a lot on the guys. I don't like the second half of the book, it could be more interesting but it was lacking so much. I didn't feel drawn to this book whatsoever, i was just reading to finish it.
Haha I remember this book from Wattpad.. I read this a year ago and it was AWESOME. This kept me laughing so hard! Leila's tactics to get away from Dylan were epic. And the incredulity of her horrible situation only added up to the humour! I love this werewolf book!
There's so many events happening in this book but it was an awesome read I also liked that the author wrote the side of what would have happened if she didn't leave her pack! When it's meant to be its meant to be
