Book three in the Sindicate Towers series, this is Jordan and Mia's story. They have a history together, but Mia's also been keeping a secret from Jordan. I liked Mia, but the secret she was keeping made me not LOVE her. Jordan was amazing. He's the backbone in his family and he was amazing. Overall, I really enjoyed this story of friendship, second chances, and so much more.

This is the third book in this series, and this is Jordan and Mia’s journey. Jordan is the eldest of three brothers, and the backbone in his family, and he and Mia have a history, and she has been keeping a secret from him. This is a good story which is a quick short read, with secrets, family, friendships, romance, danger, intrigue, second chances, and love, which leads to an enjoyable page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.

Good!
I will say I normally don’t like hidden children in stories, not unless the father was abusive. Those author did this one rather tasteful, and it was no holding the child hostage against the father, that being said good solid story. The characters had depth and were likable. I also learned a new way to torture someone. I do recommend the short read.

The promise of a second chance at love unfolds when Jordan unexpectedly crosses paths with Mia at an event. The concept of rekindling lost romance holds an undeniable allure, and yet, the execution of this tale leaves much to be desired.
The book centers around Jordan's yearning for a second chance with Mia, a relationship he regretfully let slip through his fingers. Fate provides him with an unexpected opportunity.
The book's fast-paced nature kept me engaged, but it's a double-edged sword. While the brisk tempo imparts a sense of urgency, it also sacrifices the depth needed to fully flesh out the characters and their connection. The chemistry between Jordan and Mia, touted as the foundation of the story, feels underdeveloped and lacking in the emotional resonance one would expect from a second-chance romance.
Unfortunately, Jordan and Mia's emotions and motivations remain largely on the surface, which prevented me from forming a genuine attachment and connection.
It fell short of delivering the emotional satisfaction that a second-chance romance promises.

Second chance romances are the bomb. Jordan and Mia have a long history, and she's been keeping a secret. I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet short story.
