Very dialogue heavy, but the art wasn't terrible. It was a little bloated and confusing at times, but overall, a good, post-Last Crusade adventure featuring Indy and his Old Man.
One of the better Indy stories to come out of the Dark Horse years. I'm hoping Marvel decides to re-release these in an omnibus in the near future, along with the Further Adventures of Indiana Jones.
Read my review of Vol 3. This story was drift from the momentum that was (finally) churned up with Vol 3. The ending was too abrupt but had some interesting twists in it. I still feel that Vol 3 with a brief logical bookend to the story could have sufficed as a standalone.
What a terrible wrap-up. Yondu's spear flying around stabbing the bad guys, girl disappears, Nazis bleeding to death, religious zealot (gotta add that trope), king of Ireland, girl in their dreams/visions showing up. Whatever...sounds better in my description. Kinda bummed 😕
Not bad for a comic book modelled after mainstream media. There is not too much to the book. A few pictures, a little bit of dialogue and enough tragedy for Hollywood.
