Wow, Peter Brock is/was a legend, there's no disputing that. But this book has failed to tell me anything other than just that. What about all the things Bev isn't telling the reader? I got confused by the timeline of events, this book jumped to and from the pivitol years for Mr Brock and was difficult to follow. This book has too much wishy washy language that stopped me from seeing who the real Peter Brock was.
Excellent telling of a legend's life by his wife. Thoroughly enjoyable, mind you, I've always been a fan so my opinion may be a little biased. A must read for any ANZAC motor sport fan.
There is motorsport talk at the end but not throughout so keep that in mind. For most of the book she is mainly talking from her perspective of living with him at home. At the beginning she talked more about her own childhood than she did Peters.
