I feel the need to quote a Brittney Spears' song right now, "Oops, she did it again!" I was one of the lucky few asked to beta read Taking Talon. I became a fan of Chloe from The Vampire Hunter's Daughter before I became best friends with her creator, Jennifer Malone Wright. In this installment, as a reader we get to see Chloe grow and evolve into a fierce, protective and smart vampire hunter. At the same time, we are pulled into her budding relationship with her half brother, Zander. The melee between Team Drew and Team Gavin takes an awesome twist during a pivotal moment.
I have to say that Alice is quickly becoming a character I crave to read more about with each installment:) I cannot recommend this book, or this series for that matter highly enough! If you haven't met Chloe, get started with The Vampire Hunter's Daughter Part 1. It's always FREE and trust me... you'll get sucked in. Don't be surprised if you find yourself telling your friends... It's always Vampire Hunting Season!

Where to begin? I was ecstatic to be asked to beta read this book! Jenn never let's us down, this I know, but I seriously could not put this book down! Taking Talon brings even more of my favorite characters personalities to life, & adds in a bit of what you expect to see in an action packed black-ops movie. I felt like I was right there watching these scenes play out (having to remind myself I was not the vampire hunter kicking butt during a few action packed scenes when I found myself eager to help out!) I found myself giggling in the wee hours until I accidentally woke my toddler up. It's THAT great! If you have enjoyed Chloe & her story then you are sure to adore this book! <3 And I will add that I am STILL Team Drew! :P Bring On Part 3 ASAP!!!

Just like with TVHD Series, I am totally in love with the Arcadia Falls Chronicles!! This is fabulous story that leaves off where book 1 ended about Chloe and her little group of followers!! The same lovable and enjoyable characters are in this book, and I have fallen hook, line, and sinker for them!!! It's a breathtakingly fast paced and addictive read that will have you craving for more and a RECOMMENDED READ that you will be talking about from now on and wanting to kill some vampires along with this magnificent group!!! Thank you, Jennifer Malone Wright, for the way you can capture an audience and keep us satisfied and very entertained!!!

I was horned to have received this copy for my honest review. And let me tell you I was not disappointed!! I have been waiting for this book to come out since I read the first Acadia Falls....And I got just what I hoped for! For the ladies that are TEAM DREW....Well there is a lot of Drew in this short story!! *Swoons* Gavin comes home and rocks the boat between Drew and Chloe. We get to know a little more about Zander, and he passes the trust issue after he helps Chloe and the team on a very dangerous mission. I can't get enough of this series!! And can't wait to see what the author has up her sleeve for book 3. This is a must read, so go grab your copy and choose...Are you the Hunter, or the Hunted?

OMG I just finished it. It was amazing! I love where Mrs. Wright is taking this. So suspenseful. It has soooo much action and drama. I couldn't put it down. I read from beginning to end. I can totally see watching this on a big screen some day! Jennifer Malone Wright has done a super fantastic job yet again with her new installment in a fabulous series! The only sad part is waiting for the next part lol. I LOVED it. I'm so hooked. You definitely want to download and read this ASAP

Jennifer does it again! Taking Talon continues the addicting story of Chloe the young vampire hunter. Details unfold and relationships take interesting turns. There are many interesting events that occur that add new elements to the story. I won't spoil it for you. Vampire Hunter's Daughter fans will enjoy this new addition to the series. Keep up the good work Jennifer!

This was an amazing book. I started off with the vampire hunters daughter and couldn't put it down. I read all of them and the two Arcadia falls chronicles in like a day. Good story lines and some twists that you would never see coming. Love this story and would recommend it to anyone!!!!

A very serious plan of action takes place even amidst some very uncertain relationship pairings. More supportive characters take to the limelight really surprising me. I know things are not going to turn out the way the direction seems to be heading, but I am very interested in seeing how this authors manages to keep me pondering. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

Another quick read, which I wholly appreciate! These Hunters really get down to it when they make a plan. I’m still unsure how many vamps were in the building altogether, but taking down VampHQ takes guts. Looking forward to the next book, and those that follow.

This story is short but it is filled with action. The cliff hanger ending just leaves you waiting to find out what happens next.

Another great episode of Arcadia Falls. The love triangle continues as they all team up to take on the Talon Building. There is a good build in the characters through each book from The Vampire Hunter's Daughter to this series. There is a good blend of love drama and action in this book and it kept me hooked.

I enjoyed the story, but again this narrator make my ears bleed sometimes. Lol
Chloe and gang are up to no good, yet it's all good.. in a way. It's time to make a move on the vampires. War is coming. But no one is listening when they tell them this. With a lot of talking, some arguing and a lot of planning the decision is made to take the Talon building. The talon building is the vampires main hub, so to speak.
When the fires start alls kinds of trouble starts. Chloe, Drew and the rest make a plan, set it up and just when they think it's over and no one saw them...
Vampires strike... and the gauntlet is thrown. It's fame on.
