Sometimes Caitlin feels like the only person who cares about everything that's going wrong in the world--things like nuclear waste and the hole in the ozone layer. Then she meets Robert, with his ponytail, blue eyes, and passion for taking on issues. Suddenly, Caitlin is ready to take a stand on the issues that matter to her. And when the chance arises, she surprises herself with how far she'll go to make the world a better place.

Of the Degrassi books I've read, that aren't the manga/comic style types, this is the weakest. And not only because of some of the typos, which Spike's reprint also suffered (surprisingly, I don't remember any in Joey's reprint).

Caitlin apparently didn't learn her lesson with Robert, as she repeated a very similar plotline with Claude in the actual series. She gets into anti-nuclear power plants due to an older boy and gets in over her head. Yep, I wasn't kidding when I said it was Claude all over again. Did Caitlin not learn her lesson the first time?

It might be because the book was originally published in 1990, the same year the episode 'All in a Good Cause' was. In fact, the book only came out mere days before the episode. However, I feel like all the other books were cannon and actually followed along with the characters. This book felt more like a fever dream.
