Naughty girl was a super quick read...I managed to read it in its entirety while waiting for a friend at the doctors office. The story was well-written, albeit a bit too short, which is the case with most novellas. The characters were interesting and I immediately took a liking to Alex and Paul.

I've also come to realize that I rather enjoy dual perspectives. It was nice to be able to read about the thoughts and feelings of both characters in their own words. I found it interesting to compare the male and female points of view so to speak.

While, there wasn't a great amount of depth as far as the characters were concerned, the chemistry and connection was definitely there and it was smokin'!!! What I loved the most about Alex was that she was an independent woman whom no Dom could tame. She enjoyed sex and wasn't ashamed to admit that the sex was what interested her in the lifestyle and the club. She was passionate, kinky and proud of it. The fact that in her four years at the club, she managed to go through most of the Doms there was of no consequence to her. She owned her kinkiness and wore it proudly.

Paul was an absolute gentleman, still reeling over the breakup with his wife, he swore he'd never collar another woman. While he found himself drawn to Alex, he didn't pressure or push her. He gave her the space she needed to make her own decision and come to him on her own.

I also enjoyed the twist/triangle that Metal threw into the storyline with the addition of Will. It gave the story that extra bit of "UUUUMPH' that keeps me engrossed in a novel. While I make no apologies for my dislike of novellas...I can honestly say that Naughty Girl is the exception. While I still feel that it could have been much longer...I did get the beginning, middle, and ending that so many quickies lack.

Overall, Naughty Girl was a good and enjoyable read and I hope the author sees fit to tell Max's story!! I'm intrigued by the mysterious club owner who managed to turn Alex down while every other Dom in the place was salivating over her.

Alexandra or more commonly referred to as "Alex" by her friends is a beautiful, independent woman who knows she is "submissive" when it comes to the bedroom; but she in no way wants to be collared by a Dom ~She's content to play at the "club" and not really get tied down ~ well she likes to be "tied" down. Naughty Girl was a 4.5 star read for me. It's a good book and well worth reading. It's a quick read that will leave you grinning at the end and kind of wishing it was longer. There are emotional scenes as well as some very hot panty melting scenes that will have you fanning yourself for sure. There's one scene in particular that literally had me squirming and wishing for a little Paul in my life ;)

I recommend you give this one read. It's worth your time and I think you will fall in love with Alex & Paul just as I have. This was the first book by Scarlett Metal I've read so I've added her to my list of authors to watch out for I can't wait to read more from her.

Alex meets Paul, the new co- owner of the club. Alex is drawn to the sexy tall man. Paul like what he see, can't take his eyes off her, and like Alex Paul just wants some kinky sex, having been burnt by the last person he collared his ex wife, he is not interested in a relationship or collaring anyone.

What’s start off as a relationship base on lots of hot kinky sex, turns into something more when Paul and Alex can't deny the feelings that they are developing for each other.

I liked Alex she was a sassy independent girl. Paul was an alpha male with a heart; I like him from the start. He likes to take control,

I enjoyed the storyline, the BDSM scenes were mild, the sex was hot and steamy, and I like the drama at the end of the book as it added to the story. Told from the POV’s of both Alex and Paul, you get an insight into what they are both thinking and feeling. The chemistry between Alex and Paul is smoking hot.

Overall Naughty Girl was another one of Scarlett Metal’s Novellas that I enjoyed reading, and drew me in from the start. It was well written, and like always my only wish is that it had been longer as I would have liked to know more about Paul, and some areas could have been more detailed. However I can't be too disappointed as I’m about to read Mine the next book in the series, and find out what's next is in store for Alex and Paul.

If you have a couple of hours to spare and you are looking for a hot, quick, steamy read, with some BDSM action mixed in then Naughty Girl is for you.

This was a short quick read that I liked. Alexandra loved the hot sex she experienced as a submissive in the bedroom, but would never give her heart to any man. This book is a very short quick read and the first book in a new series for me it was a light BDSM, that I enjoyed. This is also the first time I have read this author this book was well written. The sex scenes were really good. What starts off as a relationship base on lots of hot kinky sex, turns into something more when Paul and Alex can't deny the feelings that they are developing for each other. I liked Alex she was a sassy independent girl. Paul was an alpha male with a heart I like him from the start. He likes to take control. I look forward to reading the rest of this series.

I enjoyed this hot and steamy short story. I was fortunate to get this as an ARC from the author. Quick read which I enjoy throwing in a good short story every now and then. Every woman needs a Paul. Strong ,dominant, sexy and a caring man. I read a variety of books and I have not read much in the category of BDSM. This book was written very tastefully and it had my interest from the very beginning. Another great read from Scarlett and I look forward to more of her work in the future.

Before Reading:
I had gotten this book off of amazon for free and the description seemed interesting enough. I wasn’t expecting much from this story but thought it might be a good read to pass in the car on the way home from college.

Plot:
Alexandra is a frequent sub at a Dom bar. She’s against getting collared by any of the men though holding onto her freedom as long as she can. She’s determined to have as much fun as she can when she sees Paul at the bar one night she knows she has to have him.
Paul has written off all subs after his wife left him for one of the Doms’ at their bar. Leaving to start and help out at his friends bar all he wants is a fresh start. When his best friend convinces him to give Alex a try he reluctantly asks her for a meeting stating his demands.
When Alex and Paul discuss the rules their nights and days together begin to turn into something other than fun. After Paul and Alex finally go out on a date together and end up having to most mind blowing sex ever Alex runs afraid of her feelings and of being rejected.
Paul waking up alone isn’t sure what to think. Not sure what to do he goes looking for her at the bar, but she’s missing.
When Alex is finally ready to face her fears one of her ex-Doms comes back and begins harassing her. Paul coming to her rescue knows that this guy isn’t done with his harassment and takes her home.
Once there they know it’s time they both face their feeling for one another and see if Alex is finally ready to give her heart to another and to see if Paul is ready to give out another collar.

Characters:
Alex is a sub who is a slave in the bedroom but not out. She gives every man exactly what he wants but refuses to commit due to problems in her childhood. She’s a relatable character in a lot of ways and very admirable for her strength as well as her reluctance to be taken care of.
Paul has been broken by women before and isn’t sure he wants to go down that road again. When he meets Alex though everything changes and from his perspective we get the first clue on how far and fast the feelings are growing. He’s very protective and caring of Alex and while he controls in the bedroom he likes that Alex is a strong successful woman.

POV:
The pov goes back and forth I believe every chapter from Alex’s perspective to Pauls.

Overall:
I really enjoyed this book even though I didn’t really know if I would. I enjoyed the writing and the characters. The naughty scenes weren’t over the top over scary or anything like that so I was happy for that. Like I said I enjoyed the characters they both had their own issues but became even stringer because of that. The story is short so if readers are looking for a short read Naughty Girl would be a good one.

Recommendation:
I guess if you enjoy any of H.M. Wards latest books such as: Secrets, Tryst, or The Arrangements you would enjoy Naughty Girl

Today's review is on Naughty Girl by Scarlett Metal

This is the first book that I have read by Metal, and I must say that I am a bit interested to see this writer's talent grow. Metal's writing style is inviting to the reader. It's not overly worded like some books are. But don't let that deter you. There is something to be said about a book that hit's exactly what you want without too much fluff.

After a few drinks with her friend, Alex and Stephanie begin talking about their sex lives and find out that they both like sex "a little bit rough." It's then that they decide to look into the BDSM lifestyle. They find the local BDSM club, Backstage, and become regulars.

A few years later Stephanie completely gives herself to her Dom Zach and now they're are getting married. Now Alex is the third wheel. That is until she spots Paul.

After his Sub; who became his wife, left him, Paul has no interest in a long term relationship in any way. That doesn't mean that he's not willing to have a little play time though, and when he sees Alex, he decides that she is the one he wants to play with.

Alex isn't interested in being collared by any man. She's smart, sexy, and above all independent. Plus, her last Dom was a bit to rough and controlling. Now she just wants to have some fun with no strings attached.

The attraction between these two is electric and they find that they are perfect for each other. But how far are either one of them willing to go?

I did enjoy reading Naughty Girl and even got a little tingle (*wink, wink*), but there were a lot of editing mistakes that made the flow difficult in some places. If not for that, I would have been able to give it a higher rating. As it stands, I can't help but say that it needs a little more work.

Alex is a member of a sex club that she attends with her best friend Stephanie. She has no interest in being committed to anyone. She enjoys the BDSM lifestyle and the club allows her to explore her fetishes with no strings attached. ( Yes pun intended!)

Unlike my best friend who wore her Dom Zach’s collar, I had no interest in making that kind of commitment to anyone. I was in the lifestyle for the kinky sex more than anything. I absolutely loved a man that took charge in the bedroom.

In walks Paul, the new partner to the club owner. Alex is instantly drawn to this tall, gorgeous man in an Armani suit with amazing blue eyes. Paul is happy to find out that the beautiful, sexy woman that he can't take his eyes off, Alex is about as interested in a commitment as him.

“Perfect,” he said quietly, his blue eyes staring into mine. “Because I don’t plan to give my collar to anyone. I did that once and it didn’t work out so well.” My heart started pounding in my chest. It seemed too good to be true."

Be prepared with a fan and an ice cold beverage as the sparks fly between Alex and Paul. The chemistry between these two is hot!!!! I gave the book 3 1/2 stars because I prefer the books I read to be longer and more in depth. It is a good, light, and short book if that is what you are in the mood for.

Naughty Girl gives you the steam with some BDSM mixed in. I was quickly sucked into this book and read it in one sitting–actually it kept me up because I had to finish it.

Alex a Sub looking for a casual thing and Paul a Dom seeking the same thing hook up but will fate have a different plan? Their connection is instant and can’t be denied. However, the past comes knocking on Alex’s door one night to try and ruin it all. Will this casual thing turn serious or will Alex’s past become the present and future? Can Paul compete with her past and does he even want to?

They have a connection–yes–and they have amazing, hot sex that makes you think of all the possibilities you can use the furniture in your home. Will that be enough to get these two to a HEA? You will have to read to find out.

As with 98% of all Novella’s I read I wanted to know more and learn more about Alex and Paul’s pasts, present and their possible futures. I hear through the twitter grape vine that a sequel might be in the making and so I hope that that feeling of wanting more will go away when I get my greedy little hands on book 2 because I nee so more yummy, yummy Paul!

Naughty Girl is a BDSM book with somewhat of a different story. Most character in these types of books have some kind of torrid past that leads them down the road of choosing the S&M lifestyle. Alex and Paul don't seem to fit this cookie cutter character analysis. They have both sworn off love for the time being and have absolutely no desire to pursue anything other having a little bedroom fun. That is until they meet each other and decide to become "playmates".

I love the fact that Alex is a good girl, trying to be bad while Paul is exactly the same. They both have their sexual fetishes that may not be everyone's cup of tea... but underneath that freaky little exterior are really two people who would love nothing more than be in love. They both have to put that coat of armor on and around their hearts to protect themselves from falling in love. Paul has been burned before and Alex witnessed her mother falling and depending on men her entire life. She is bound and determined NOT to do the same. It turns out that Alex's determination is exactly what Paul needs and Paul's protectiveness is what she has yearned to find.

I give Naughty Girl 3.5 stars on the knock my socks off scale. I thought it was a great short story and would love to hear what the future holds for Paul and Alex.

Naughty Girl is a short and easy read. For those looking for a nice book to read in one sitting, that includes erotica and BDSM, Naughty Girl would suit you nicely. It's a basic story line which involves Alexandra, a sub who does not want to be collared, and Paul. Paul is a dom who tells himself that he does not want to collar another sub because of his ex-wife/sub. He comes into town and helps his friend run his BDSM club. Alex comes up and greets Paul and sparks fly at their first glances and the tension grows when they touch.

Alex agrees to be Paul's sub and they both understand and agree that their relationship is only going to be at the club, there will be no outside dating. After doing some scenes together and growing physically close together, they agree to go on a date to their mutual friends' wedding. Paul realizes that he loves Alex, but she isn't ready for a relationship yet.

I enjoyed reading Naughty Girl and I think it's a nice book to settle down with during a free day and just read straight through it. The BDSM scenes were mild but the sex was hot and steamy. Since the book is so short, I would say the biggest downside is that the story moves along really quickly, but all in all, it's still a good read.

So I've been on the outs with books lately. Seriously was suffering from a major book hangover from M. Leighton's Until I Break. So I've been trying to work on one of my many books and when that was going no where, I decided to look through my kindle and see what I could read. I managed to read not one but two books today. One being Naughty Girl and let me tell you for a short read, about 88 pages this book is seriously packed with some hotness.

As you can see in the description that it deals with some light BDSM situations. Get over it, the sex is hot. But its more about the story of Alex and her not wanting to be "collared" and Paul's not wanting to "collar" someone again that brings the story together. What starts off as a mutual agreement for play time turns into some serious, soul connecting, mind blowing sex with a side order of love?

Then when an ex Dom shows up those feelings are put to the test. What does Paul do? Does Alex go with the ex-Dom or is she finally able to admit something to herself? Trust me when I say to take the chance on this short quickie. I mean after all it is only 99 pennies.

To start with, I want to say this book could have been so much more. The book started off so strong and with so much potential. Absolutely loved the story and the characters and I was so sucked into the story, but it all felt so rushed, maybe that was just me wanting more. Also, I am not one to complain about errors in a book but I felt this one had so many it was hard to follow at times. None of this was enough to stop me from reading the story though, and I look forward to reading Scarlett's future books and seeing her growth as an author. 3.5 stars.

So for the storyline, Alex and Paul meet at a BDSM club and immediately are drawn to each other. And of course, Paul is every woman's fantasy tall, gorgeous and sexy. Alex is a very strong woman who knows what she likes and wants until in walks Paul. The chemistry between the two is sizzling hot!! So be prepared to have your panties melt off!

So if you want a quick, sexy, steamy read with some hot BDSM mixed in, this book is for you!

I loved Alex she is a straight I know what I want girl, but when Paul steps in he totally rocks her world. It's a battle for not only submitting, but trusting. Alex is a strong character and doesn't yield easily. I loved Paul, the perfect man needed to derail Alex. Behind closed doors the sparks fly, and it was exhilarating watching these two together. Scarlett's writing is easy going and she draws you into the story. You won't have a choice but to flip the page to see where this is going. Warning, the pay scenes is hectic and you will need a cold shower when you're done. If you loved Fifty Shades then this is just for you.

There was some minor mild tame BDSM... A couple scenes that the book had of serious BDSM were what I would glance over very brief mentioning. Most of sex scenes were like a couple experimenting in this not what norm Dom/sub relations...
Errors can be seen as your reading it & some scenes just didn't make sense to me...
2.5 star count but giving a three...
Reasoning for the low score, the errors & the author could of written bit more with the story. In addition grammar & other errors...missing words, I would be here all day just listing the problems that this book had that could have easily been avoided if the author asked for some assistance from beta reader or editor to help complete. (Author states at the end of the book that she had critique partner & beta readers but as you read it, clearly that's a FALSE statement.)

Not worth the .99cents (I purchased with gift certificate) to read.

Too short of a story for a short story.

Two folks into BDSM agree to play together, both have come out of relationships and she's not interested in being collared, ever. After 6 weeks of awesome sex play, then they have an extremely kinky sex scene involving bondage, clothespins and anal play. She freaks out after she realizes she loves him and leaves. He's distraught and when they see each other after a week later and after an incident with a former Dom, they decide they love each other. The end.

No plot development here at all since it's a short story, but also no character development either. The key to short story writing is to be able to get it all out within the limited character size, but still make the reader want to know the characters or care about the plot. This did neither. There was also sloppiness in grammar, punctuation, etc.

This was like watching the 4 min snippet of a porn movie on pornhub: poor direction and barely enough to get off.

If you are looking for quick read with steamy BDSM elements then The Naughty Girl is exactly what you need.

Alex is sub with an attitude. She has never been collared by anyone before, but once she meets Paul she starts to question if maybe she should give being collared to someone a chance.

"When he finally lifted his eyes to meet mine, it was as if he could see through me, to my soul."

It was a very fast read with an edge. The only draw back that I found was that it was a bit predictable. But that could have been because it was so short. All in all, I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

Hot, sexy and sweet! A very quick, tasty treat of a read (64 pages) about Alexandra and Paul. Alex likes to play at a local BDSM bar and Paul is a new Dom on the scene who is there to help out his friend, the owner. Alex may be very submissive in the bedroom but outside of it is a woman with a strong, tough personality and is not looking to be collared by anyone. Paul…oh my, he can get a girl’s juices flowing! He definitely knew how to take Alex to the edge all while respecting her and seeing that she also enjoyed the experience. Scarlett did a fantastic job of engaging me in the characters and the story without leaving me hanging at the end.

I'm always up for a truely BDSM book and this one was pretty good. I'll give it 3 stars out of 5.

I liked the back story of Alex and Paul. I kinda fell in love with them.. I think I'm just so sad I didn't get a lot more of them. I read the 64 page novella in only an hour it was so good!

I LOVED the characters. I just felt like it was really rushed. I'd have loved to get more of the BDSM side of their lifestyle and their story all together. So because I felt it was rushed.. we missed a star.

There were also quite a few errors or typos in the story which I tend to find distracting when there is more than a couple so that is the other missing star.

I can't wait to read the follow up of the story in Part Two of this Novella Series.

Very short read with some hot scenes.

I really liked Paul and thought he was a great guy. He was very protective of Alex and genuinely cared about her. He seemed to be the perfect Dom.

Alex...meh, I could take or leave her. She was described as being an independent person capable of making her own decisions. However, I thought she handled the situation with Paul badly by leaving instead of having a conversation about her feelings. Then there was psycho Will. Seriously, it was obvious the guy was dangerous and there is no way she couldn't have seen the signs earlier and done something about it.

The ending was happy. I noticed on Amazon there is another book out called Mine in this series which continues with Paul's and Alex's story. Not sure if I'll read.

I really enjoyed Naughty Girl!

I've read a number of BDSM books where half the story seemed to be explaining the 'life' of those who participate. Not so with this book. There were tidbits here and there, but it read much more like the novella it was supposed to be than a 'get started' guide, and I like that. The writing was smooth and the story flowed very well.

I love Alex but Paul made my heart race! I love an alpha male with a heart and a strong protective streak. Gets my motor running every time. :)

I love the story! The author just didn't make the story interesting but also the characters as well.
I love how she made Alexandra not just hot but also feisty!

About the story, it's interesting at the same time romantic on some ways. I love how the story flows and I love how the author made it just right that it will make you intrigue of the story and the characters. The characters are well thought, and what I really loved about them is that they are easy to love and I love the feisty and sassy personality of Alexandra. I also loved how the story ended, it's full of promises and it made me curious if will they last.

Even though this was a short book, it had a great story between Alex and Paul. It could have had more content to make it longer but still a very good and hot read. Alex had been with several Doms before but never let any of them collar her since she wasn't looking for anything serious. Paul had been married, recently divorced and wasn't looking for anything serious. They are the perfect match. When Alex's last Dom comes back, Alex and Paul realize their true feeling for each other. The light bdsm scenes were hot and the connection between Alex and Paul were hotter. If you are looking for a short hot read, this is the book for you!

Alexandra just wants to be a submissive and play around. She never wants to be collared. Living with what happened to her mom she doesn't want to be like her.

Paul has just got divorced and has come to help his friend out and decides that Alex is the girl he is looking for. He isn't looking for a woman to collar.

As you read this book and get into the story you get to see the feelings change between Alex and Paul. It was a great book and I enjoyed it.
