Serbian prose writer, playwright and public figure.

Based in Belgrade for most of her career, Bjelica produced over 55 books - novels, short story collections, plays, travel books and screenplays. Her work usually explores taboo themes. She also worked as a columnist for several magazines and newspapers.

Isidora Bjelica was briefly married to Dragoslav Bokan, and then to professor Nebojša Pajkić with whom she has a son and a daughter. She died (age 52) after a long battle with cancer.

Knjiga mi se prilično dopala – brza, zanimljiva i drugačija. Tema je provokativna, ali ispričana tako da te odmah uvuče u priču. Čita se lako i ostaješ radoznao do kraja.
