Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber) was an American writer, editor, creator of comic book superheroes, and the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics.
With several artist co-creators, most notably Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, he co-created Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, Thor as a superhero, the X-Men, Iron Man, the Hulk, Daredevil, the Silver Surfer, Dr. Strange, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scarlet Witch, The Inhumans, and many other characters, introducing complex, naturalistic characters and a thoroughly shared universe into superhero comic books. He subsequently led the expansion of Marvel Comics from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation.
I knew this was going to be different. After falling in love with the show I came to read more about the character, and I was unimpressed. I liked the concept of him but from these samples of him he seemed interesting but maybe I need to hone in on what issues or stories that are interesting, like checking out his 90’s solo run sometime.
Another Marvel-verse with really cheesy action and dated storylines. These collections have been good to see character evolutions and significant events but they really make you appreciate the care that goes into the storytelling and art in recent Marvel comics.
i wanted to read this because i heard the new marvel show is coming out! i like wonder man, i feel like he’s emotionally mature and ethically inclined, like most heroes. he doesn’t stand out for any unique reason, but i do like the fact that he’s an actor.
Years ago, After reading and watching Ant-Man and The Wasp and Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania, I got Marvel high and wanted to read more of the Marvel-verse. Ok, so Marvel-Verse is about collected stories about each hero, heroes and even villains. Now, I can watch the Marvel Miniseries on Disney+.
