Cinderella Twin

Rate this book
SISTER SWITCH

Gorgeous, rich men like Cade Marshall were just a fairy tale to no-frills librarian Julianne Bennet. Then she secretly swapped lives with her glamorous identical twin sister and found herself in Cade's kingdom. But when he discovered small-town Julianne's deception, would he put an end to her dream-come-true?

Cade had no use for flighty, no-substance women--and his beguiling neighbor had always been Queen of the Flirts. So why was he suddenly, royally desiring her? Was it her newfound depth, the sincerity and goodness alive in her eyes? Still, this provocative princess couldn't convince Cade to surrender his reign as eternal bachelor...could she?

I'm a sucker for romance books that involve identical twins. Its always intrigued me that it seems so easy to just don a new outfit and suddenly everyone thinks you are someone else. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that people see what they expect.

This wasn't a bad book, but it was shallow and honestly Cade's anger when the ruse is up was so contrived. Yes lying was a big no-no, but Julianne's lie was nowhere near the level that his ex-wife's were. So she wanted to have a little fun--who was he to judge? And that I think was my biggest problem with Cade, he was very judgemental based upon surface appearances.

Julianne wasn't so bad, and the secondary characters weren't half bad either. The companion, about Julianne's twin, Jackie, finding love is called The Older Man, but I don't have that and don't feel a need to track it down.

it was okay. i felt that there should have been more conflict/angst/realisation from the hero at the end building up to HEA, but none. he was so persistent about liars and the quick ending didnt vuild up enough to help him make his realisation.
