Yowza what a hot short story. What drew me to this book was The cover. -.- ssshh, im suddenly hungry ;-)
Wow, can I just say...good God!!! The non shifting Alpha was an interesting twist. Especially a hot and sexy Greek God bod so afraid of losing a round, size 20 wearing cutie. I love.when the big gals get their man and especially beef.cake dejour! As a fellow big gal, right on sistah!!

I am not going to lie about it. What first drew me to this book was the cover. A beef-eyed candy man if I ever saw one. Jayce is hot, hot, hot with 3 capital H's.
Jayce is a werewolf alpha and leader of his pack who in human form is to die for. Anna is a plus size human who have lusted after the man for months and who join the gym just so she can cultivate her lustful fantasies for him. She knows that there is no chance in hell a man like that would look at her twice so she felt safe about that knowledge right? LOL
What she did not know was that she was not the only one lusting. Jayce had been lusting for her as well since the first moment he met her. He knows she is his mate and he knows now that that it is time to claim what is his. He knows that she wants him too and he knows that he will have her but once she knows his secret will she still want him?
This story is designed for eroticism there is no doubt about it. What the author did well was to describe in detail how and why each character lusted for the other character. That is what most erotic stories do, but what makes this one different was the clever and original way the author describes their feelings. How Jayce felt about Anna running on a the treadmill and what it was doing to him was amazingly erotic and funny at the same time. That alone is worth the read

As a whole this series is about being comfortable in your own skin. Weather your extra curvy or your boat floats a different way no matter who you are you deserve to be happy and find love and that's what these stories are all about. With a slew of hunky alpha males who were willing to help each heroine see the true beauty in themselves. I loved this series as a whole and how each story had a different way each alpha was able to show their mate that they were beautiful not in spite of but because of their curves. "The definition of beauty is different to everyone, just as our ideas of perfection are different" (Two times the Charm) Some of these heroines were afraid to allow themselves to think that someone could love them as they were and I loved how the alpha's were able to reassure their mates of their worth and learn how to be happy with themselves without fear. "Fear never encourages freedom; it supports oppression. It is those that live with no fear that achieve the most." (Two Times the Charm)
Loved how their paranormal aspect was incorporated in this series and I can't wait to read more!

If your looking for a quick hot werewolf story this will be perfect for you, If you are looking for a story with a lot of more meat this isn't for you. Jayce is Alpha and he's watched his mate Anna for seven months. Anna joined Jayce's gym and he has wanted her since he first saw her. Anna has been attracted to Jayce since she joined his gym but she knows guys like him would never want a girl like her. Anna has tried to loose weight but never has been able to. When Jayce finally decides it's time to make his move Anna and his life will never be the same. This is a quick hot read that I enjoyed I would have liked to have scene more of Jayce's and Anna's relationship but overall it was a good short story.

This book is so hot. Jayce is a guy who knows who his mate is but there is just something in him that is been holding him back from claiming her. Anna can not see how someone who looks like Jayce could ever want a woman of her size. Sure she works out like crazy in his gym but that has not made her as skinny as all the other women in the gym staring at him. I like how this story show that it is ok to let go with the right person. That whether you are a girl or a guy you can have insecurities that can hold you back from the one person who can totally love you if you don't give love a chance. I would totally recommend this book. This has been a great set of books that once you read one of these you will be going back for the others.

This was another like the second Controlled Desires Alpha Doms 2 but not quite so instantaneous since she'd at least been visiting the gym for a while specifically to perve over him! Still not sure I see how in such short stories you can believably get the normal unknowing human with the werewolf in one easy f*ck, but whatever.
(Alright, this is me being a bit harsh but I'm writing all these reviews one after another and it's less interesting than reading them one after another....which, by the way, I don't really recommend even when awaiting workmen and rather bored)

Instant Attraction
I admire that the series is tackling the Alpha's patience and weakness to his mate. He is willing to wait and often times test his love. Jayce and Anna are no different. I didn't really like the impromptu sex in the shower but when he says he locked the door, I smiled. It would have been nice if he got his wolf once he claimed his mate but that's just my story. Lol.

Another short and sweet. Not my favorite in the series, but still a good read. This one, once again, had very different characters. The story line went down a new path in many ways. I found it to be a bit short, leaving me feel like there were some missing chapters. Would have loved to have had an expanded version.

This is an odd one. There is no real plot here, no real depth to the characters - it seems to be solely written to show that Alpha shifters can love over-sized women too. The smut wasn't sexy, and I felt more confused than anything having read this. Will not be picking up the rest of the series.

Cover drew me to the book, it's gorgeous. Just a shame I didn't feel the story did it justice. Couldn't connect with the characters at all.

This book is a great read, it's fast read. This book is very well written and one that I know I will be able to read again and again.
