Taking the next step in my path to learn numerology, I picked up this book and was not disappointed. This is a nice, detailed book that begins with an explanation on numerology and how there’s a difference between modern and old school numerology. Neither is wrong, it’s all up to personal preference. From there, the book dives into how to calculate your core numbers before diving into the juicy bits.

There is a lot of useful information on learning numerology along with how to compile your own numerology profile. The instructions on how to calculate core numbers along with other numbers, such as challenge numbers, are clear and nothing is left to the imagination. I like that there’s multiple ways to calculate the numbers so that people can choose the method that makes the most sense to them. The question that I had with a different numerology book was do we reduce the number if we get a power number? Michelle Buchanan provides an explanation on this so calculating is left without questions.

I love how much information is in this book without making it overwhelming for anyone dipping their toes into numerology for the first time. There are clear explanations and how to blend the information you get from the numbers together to create a clear profile. I also like that it encourages to look at both the power number and what it reduces to if you get a power number in your core numbers. There’s a reason for this and it makes a lot of sense.

Toward the end of the book, there’s other numbers to check out for when selecting baby names, pet names, and so on. I decided to calculate the numbers for my cats even though I named them when I adopted them. Their numbers are spot on. It’s pretty interesting how a name can tell us so much about a person, place, or animal.

Numerology is so interesting. I’m glad I came across this book because it’s very informative and I highly recommend it for other people just getting into numerology.

As a long time numerology interest, I had to read this book. I'm glad I did because there's much information packed into this book. This book has it all, even house numbers and wedding day numerology. I highly recommend this book for those interested in numerology.

Didn’t Want to End

I didn’t want this book to end. It was thorough and beautiful in its description of all the parts of us. I liked the sections the book taught in & the acknowledgement that numerology is not absolute & common sense is needed. I wish it helped a little more on the blending part to teach how to compile a profile, and a couple of headers were missing.
I recommend this book to everyone, especially parents & spouses. Understand your families numbers. I gave this book 5 stars because of its thorough nature and authentic tone.

I really love the way this book is written, it removes the trauma of maths in which some numerological seen to write. It's written in East language,the sums involved are clearly written in simple examples that even maths haters like myself can cope with. I also follow this author on social media.It's very surprising just how accurate numerology is. In some cases,more so than in generic Astrology.

I find things like numerology interesting. I don't believe but I don't disbelieve ... 'know what I mean?

This book walks you through the process of figuring out your core numbers.

* Your life path number is the most significant number in your numerology chart ... it is the path you will walk in this life. You calculate it by reducing down your birthdate.
* Your destiny number tells you what you're destined to become. It is calculated from your full original birth certificate name.
* Your soul number reveals what your soul needs in order to feel content. It is calculated from the vowels in the birth certificate name.
* Your personality number is how others perceive you. It is calculated from the consonants in the birth certificate name.
* Your maturity number reveals your future potential from age 35 to 45 and onwards. It is calculated by adding the life path number and destiny number together.
* Your birth day number indicates your natural talents and abilities. It is the "day" number of your birth date.
* Your current name number are your additional traits, strengths, lessons, experiences and opportunities. It is calculated using the first and last name you go by today.
* Your karma lesson numbers indicated inherited weaknesses from previous lives along with the specific areas in need of growth that must be addressed in this life. The numbers you are missing in a birth certificate name indicate the karma lesson numbers.

Then it details what each number means for each of the core numbers. From there you can forecast your major life cycles. There are also tips if you are considering changing your name, choosing a pet's name, choosing a business name, choosing a baby name, wedding days, etc.

This book is good, save the formatting of the ARC. Please, publishers give reviewers a copy that is formatted for our digital ereaders. Please stop throwing a copy of a book formatted for print into the fray and thinking it works. It doesn't. It makes the book near impossible to read...

Okay. I wanted this book, because I enjoy Numerology. I think it can help us gain insight into ourselves, if we allow it. The formatting made it difficult to read, and so I must admit I ended up skimming a lot. However, in that skimming, I saw a lot of things that I think were good and make this book worth having if you are interested in Numerology at all.

If you are new to numeroloy, this book will help you learn about it and guide you in the right direction in how to use the information to help yourself in your life. It's not a cure-all, nor does it claim to be.

I would suggest this book is aimed more at those who either have only become interested in Numerology, or others, like myself, who are getting back into it after years away. It helps you learn how to find your Path Numbers, your basically, your Core Numbers. What the numbers mean, understanding your Number profile, and the other numbers in your life.

This is a great jumping off point for Numerology students. Start with this and see if you are truly interested in learning more, then move onto more indepth material.

This numerology guidebook provides the information to calculate your Life Path, Destiny, Soul, Personality, Maturity, Birth Day, Current Name, and Karmic numbers (core numbers). The core number meanings are well organized, the author’s approach is easy to understand, and, to be frank, the exercises are fun!

I hoped this book would satisfy my curiosity of numerology and it did. I found it interesting that, as someone who hasn’t studied numerology or had any preconceived notions about it, it was easy to understand and many of the results were amazingly accurate.

It has been my experience in life at the point of many major crossroads that confirmation and valuable information always appears to me at the crucial times. The only requirement for me is to pay attention. So it was when I requested this book from Hayhouse Publications free for the purpose of review. I was not required by Hayhouse to give a positive review. I was ready to be objective and impartial.

I knew some but very little about numerology when I first turned the pages of this book. Michelle Buchanan easily guided me step by step through my Life Path Number, my Destiny Number, my Soul Number and so much more. The information I gained was incredibly right on. Michelle Buchanan’s expertise and clear writing style makes this a book already becoming a worn favorite as I continually seek out new guidance for myself and now my friends and family.
