This book which is concise and well written reprises much of the material covered in John H Davis' book Mafia Kingfish. It updates and augments the same general argument with more recent material, but hews to the fairly narrow storyline that the mafia and principally Carlos Marcello bear responsibility for ordering and masterminding the assassination of JFK. Many theories and speculation surround the topic and those gaining currency involve some perfect storm of forces including the mafia, exiled Cuban rebels and the CIA. The circumstantial evidence is strong that the mafia accomplished the deed based on the evidence presented in this book, but the CIA and FBI had motive to participate in the cover up. Of all the theories I have studied, I find the argument presented in this book most convincing.
