Futuristic, story of Nephrite, forced to become a mate to a shape-shifting gladiator/warrior, or face the death penalty for protesting her government.
With a shortage of women, Raker the warrior is glad to have Nephrite's company. He is insatiable and interestingly enough, his shapeshifting applies to "key" body parts (insert giggles here). But her role as his prisoner takes its toll on their relationship.
I was entertained by this erotic novella. A fast and hot read, this is a good one for when you have to wait somewhere, long lines, etc. You won't bust out laughing but you don't want anyone reading over your shoulder either it this short story is a written delivery system for sex.

so I'm giving this book 3.5 stars. it was a short erotic story about a dominating shapeshifting gladiator who wins a woman. The woman however doesn't have any say as she's actually on death row. Mate with a shapeshifting gladiator or die? She picks the dude. She's scared because all she's heard about his species is they are sexually dominate and even brutal. Lots of sex ensues... you discover the only part of shapeshifting discussed in the story is the ability to change the shape and size of his junk (which could be tons of fun in real life) It has a corny ending and I wasn't really impressed, but it was ok for a short erotic novella.

Hubby and I watched the starz original series Spartacus together until it ended in March; we watched for different reasons (Please visit my blog to find we watched), but I missed the blood and hot sex. Enter Jaide Fox and Ravaged. Read and enjoyed. Good, hot sex; really kinky erotica much enjoyed by me!

Okay story, well written. The plot twist felt a bit forced, but a nice HEA. Short, but enjoyable read.
