Mi piacciono questi libretti comprati nei gift shop dei siti turistici, offrono un sacco di spunti per chi, come me, ne è sempre alla ricerca per buttar giù qualche racconto.
This is a short and light book on Northumbrian legends that nonetheless is quite interesting. The book contains twenty-two stories, each between two and four pages long. Due to the short length of each story, this is a good book to dip into now and again whenever the mood strikes.
The majority of the stories in the book are ghost stories, often tied to a house or castle, and all of them are quite interesting, but tend to follow the usual patterns of traditional ghost stories. As well as these, there are also a couple of stories about dragons local to Northumbria, as well as a section about various Arthurian legends from the area.
