Not as accessible as other books in this series. If I can't figure out a gibbons' shadow, no way are my preschoolers.

Shadow Storytime. These images were a little difficult for the children to guess which is why I rated it just 3 stars.

Great informational book that keeps students engaged. The students can constantly guess by the animals shadow what animal it is. The book then goes on to describe each discovered animal in detail giving some knowledge of animals as well. This book would be intended for a lesson on shadows and animals intended for grade 2. The book also explains shy shadows exist.

This would be a good book for when talking about animals or light/shadows.

With a preschool crowd that was quickly losing interest outside, I ended up skipping most of this book beyond the animal guessing game. Still, I liked it a lot and would use it again.
