This like the previous book appears to start a new story with the characters who survived the previous installment making their get away - although as the title of this book suggests not entirely as far as they would have liked to.

This book for me works better than the last two as there were just so many loose ends and questions left - however now you start to get some answers (not many mind you - but enough to start to make some sense of) as up to this point it all felt as though the main character was little more than a McGuffin or some excuse to justify the who strange adventure.

For me as well there appears to be more of a balance here too - as you start to see some the limitations and flaws of what could have been seen as an all powerful answer to everything

This third episode of four, also available on Kindle Unlimited, is messier again than the first two. The art still has its moments, but it is largely confused. This is the jungle planet interlude so often used in space opera. There is little or no story, a crash and a rescue by friends whilst the bad guys get munched. In the meantime the deity character frees an interstellar being from its own crash site to gain some good guy points. But the story arc is not advanced much. Disappointing all in all.
