Runaway Train #2

Beat of the Heart

Rate this book
After years of bad relationships and a cheating ex-fiancé, twenty-eight-year-old Mia Martinelli prefers healing her patients’ hearts on the Cardiac Care floor rather than risking having her heart broken again. But that all comes to a screeching halt when caring for the head roadie for Runaway Train puts her into the orbit of drummer and Latin Lover, AJ Resendiz. After a scorching weekend of steamy passion, Mia’s intention of getting out with her heart unscathed is challenged by the stud with the wicked sense of humor, especially when he wants to continue seeing her. But when the harsh reality of AJ’s hoard of female admirers sends her insecurities into overdrive, Mia bails, leaving him handcuffed to his bathroom shower.

AJ never imagined that after two weeks of the best sex and female companionship he’d ever experienced, he would need rescued by his band mates from his shower prison. Although he tries to forget the sensual brunette whose curves made his mouth water, AJ can’t get her out of his mind…or his heart. Months later when he finally seeks Mia for answers as to why she left, nothing could prepare him for their life-altering reunion.

Can AJ prove to Mia that regardless of the women after his body, his heart belongs only to her?

4,5 Sexy and Heartwarming Stars!

description

AJ is one of the members of Runaway Train, one of the world’s biggest rock bands. One night, he meets Mia in a hospital, where she works as nurse.
They have an instant connection and after that the most erotic days of both their lives.
And believe me… it is STEAMY!!!

description

And between all that hotness, feelings stars to grow but Mia has a broken past with and don’t trust easily on man and AJ, with his rock star lifestyle and all the groupies… will have a long way to prove Mia that he’s the right man for her.

description

I loved AJ since the first book, he was one of my favorite characters since the beginning and this book only made me love him more. He’s a sexy rock star with a heart of gold.
Mia is pretty good too, even broken by her past, she is sweet and passionate.
I loved seeing more of all the other characters that I loved before and I really want another book of Abby and Jake! (And there’ll be one. YAAAY!).
Please, if you want a book that will make you (SO) giddy… go read this now ;)

5 utterly charming stars! Katie Ashley has done it again!
That’s it. I am officially obsessed with the members of Runaway Train!
Did I sleep last night? No.
Was it worth it? Why yes, yes it was.
First of all, I love Mia and AJ. Mia is funny, sassy, and just plain fun. AJ is sexy, romantic, and also very sweet. And of course I loved Dee. Who could doubt that I’m a Lafayette fan? What an absolute riot! Mia and AJ have great banter, mad chemistry, and from their first meeting a very fun vibe is evident between the two of them. The story was great, with the perfect combination of drama and romance that just does it for me. Oh, and we get to see all of our favorite characters from Beat of the Heart. And if all of that weren’t enough, I do believe this is Katie’s steamiest book to date! Holy smokes! Highly recommend!

Oh how I love Katie Ashley books!

In Beat of the Heart we get AJ's story. The crazy-sexy Latin lover and drummer for Runaway Train. AJ is good with the ladies, all smooth moves and saying just the right things. But AJ is not just a man that is all talk, behind the young drummer's massive sexual nature is a man that has a good heart.

Mia is a nurse who has had her heart broken by every man she ever dared to love. Not willing to trust that AJ is just more of the same, and weighed down with her past and insecurities. But AJ is not easily driven off by her attempts to dismiss his advances. But once AJ gets that first date - his battle of winning Mia's heart is just beginning.

AJ was as sexy as promised! These two had some phenomenal chemistry and although their was angst in the form of Mia's insecurities, AJ proved just how decent of a guy he truly was. Katie has created a great bunch of guys, that although live the rock n' roll dream are not slimy rock stars. Each and every one of the crew comes across as completely lovable and sweet as sugar. Even though Jake is still my favorite of the group, I have a feeling Rhys is going to give him a run for his money.

But Katie is a little sneaky, slipping in a bit of a book crossover that made me remember that someone in particular still has quite a story to be told. I loved how easily that slipped in with the story and made me remember one of my favorite Katie Ashley series.

Another fantastic romance story that seemed a little more sexy than the others (maybe it was just the Latin flair). It's refreshing to read a rock star themed series that does not fall back on the typical and predictable theme of groupies but focuses more on a great story and more emotional angst that needs resolution rather than going the easy route with physical drama.

I can't wait until we get more of this series!

Let's meet AJ:

Mr. Latin Lover meets Ms. Hot Bloodied Sicilian for a steamy romance.

AJ is the drummer for Runaway Train and fellow band member of Jake from (Music of the Heart). Mia is a Cardiac nurse who has had horrible luck with men.

"Thank you for giving me everything I hadn't realized I had ever wanted."

I love this quote but it is a huge spoiler:

I know this is only my issue but it drives me nuts when the characters have similar names or the names start with the same letter. Two secondary men character's in this story both had three lettered "D" names and the first two letters were "De". Besides my name OCD I really enjoyed this story. I was pleasantly surprised by the steaminess of Beat of the Heart. I really liked AJ in the first book so I knew I would love him in this book.

It started off okay:

AJ:

meets Mia at the hospital:

She's a nurse, Italian, has an attitude and bad experiences with men so AJ has trouble convincing her to go on a date with him. But she eventually caves, and it begins.

AJ takes her dancing

Which leads to:

They eat at her family's restaurant where she tells people he's gay. Then they dance some more. They kiss. Then they leave and continue:

And they keep going with the SEX. I felt like I was listening to Justin Bieber's PYD song, and they were just ticking off places where they could have sex. It was ridiculous. It was their first date and they'd each had at least 12 orgasms. And it just kept going for most of the book. AJ was hard..ALL THE TIME. It got to the point that I was just like:

I mean they talked about TV shows and music but how does that, and the sex, make a foundation for love? And I mean, by the second week they were together they were already telling one another that they were falling and I was wondering what blasphemy I was reading.

Then off course, some skank goes and screws it up, and my reaction was just:

But Mia basically lost it:

After that, 4 months pass. During this time, we find out that Mia never let AJ explain even though he tried to contact her repeatedly. We also learn that AJ hasn't slept with anyone. But meanwhile, Mia has been seeing her cheating ex-fiance, she's pregnant, and she continues making assumptions about AJ so she can sabotage their relationship. Oh and off course, she doesn't tell him about the baby until he goes to see her and he faints.

After this, obviously AJ wants to be part of the baby's life. Which Mia is all, "you don't have to if you don't want to" but she wants him to just doesn't actually say. She gets mad when groupies are all over him yet she won't give him a chance to be in her life. She doesn't believe that he actually wants to be with her and keeps pushing him away no matter what AJ does to try to prove to her that he cares about her and the baby. She won't go to Mexico with him until AJ finally gives her an ultimatum. yada yada yada

So on to Mexico they go (Mia makes the right decision so props to her), they finally resolve their issues. Get engaged. Skipforward 5 months. Runaway Train wins a Grammy. They have their daughter in the back of a limo, ironic since that's where they had sex for the first time. And then a year later, they finally get married and its a HEA.

Overall, it was a 3/3.5 star read for me. I really liked AJ and thought he was a sweetheart, I just had a love-hate, mostly hate relationship with Mia.

5 heartwarming Stars!!

AJ is the drummer of the band RUNAWAY TRAIN. Total hottie and a ladies man. This Latino Lover is perfect in every way having a good heart and soul. She met Mia in the hospital one day when Mia having her rounds as a nurse. Mia being a smartass sicilian captures AJ attention from the first time they met and both connected instantly.

"Don't fight it .. Feel it."

They spending the nights together and having the best sex of their lives.

Both feeling grows into each other but Mia suffers from a broken past and cheating relationships and AJ lifestyle being a rockstar is a problem to her. Being a stubborn sicilian AJ proves himself to Mia that they are both good to each other.

"Si no te presumo, ni te grito al viento, es por no hacerte mal
Te puedo gritar un te amo callado, por verte a mi lado
Yo puedo esperar un dia, unos meses, un ano, o un siglo
Que al fin yo he de amarte una eternidad
Amorcito mio"

"If you do not presume, or I cry to the wind, it is not hurting you
I can shout you one I love you silent, to see you at my side
I can wait one day, a few months, one year, or a century
That at last I shall love you forever
mio Amorcito"

I freaking love this story!! Both characters are perfect.. I totally swoon and siggh over AJ and his golden heart... This is amazing and definitely perfect HEA! I cant wait for the next book!! :)

Beat of the Heart is the second installment in author Katie Ashley's new-adult romance series: Runaway Train. Ms. Ashley does a great job at developing characters who the target audience can relate to, but this particular story just didn't keep my interest. (FYI I'm not the target audience...)

My perspective of Beat of the Heart:

Rockstar drummer boy sees girl- Boy pursues girl- Girl resists- Girl finally gives in (of course)- Girl has body image issues and relationship baggage- Girl can't deal with the fangirling women who throw themselves at boy- Eyerolling ensues (I mean, really...what did she think his life was like?)

I have enjoyed a lot of books that fall into the new-adult genre, but I don't think the rockstar love stories are for me. This is just a personal preference and not a negative reflection of Katie Ashley's writing. If you have enjoyed this type of story in the past, I'm sure you'll love Beat of the Heart. Katie Ashley is a fun author, and I really enjoyed her The Proposition series. This particular one just wasn't for me.

Katie Ashley is a hit or miss author for me. I love her books or I don't like them at all. Yet I keep reading them... AND I AM SO GLAD I READ THIS ONE!

Beat of the Heart is one REALLY F'N HOT read!! WOWZERS. From the first chapter I loved AJ and then Mia comes along... and the two together. *sigh*

Let me just remind you this isn't your daughters YA book - some scenes are HOT.

This quote I picked out as my favorite of the book:

Enjoy this one... I know I did.

I read the first book in the Runaway Train series five years ago, I bought this 2nd book in the series not long after that but it has taken me a very long time to get my shit together and read books from my never ending TBR. However, 2018 is going to be the year of discovering unread books so this was a fantastic dive back into that promise to myself.

AJ is the drummer in the band and has quite a reputation with the ladies. However, when he truly meets someone special he is 100% committed to them, despite all the forward groupies who throw their dignity to the ground when they are around rock stars.

After one of the band crew has a medical emergency, AJ ends up accompanying them to the hospital and this is here he meets a goddess, otherwise known as Mia. A gorgeous italian nurse who has curves in all the right places and pretty much has him by the balls. No really she does, well she rubs them the first time they meet anyway…

Mia has had her share of crappy relationships so is very gun shy when it comes to men, trust is a big issue for her and when the gorgeous, cocky AJ shows interest in her she wants to run in the other direction. He has heart break written all over him. However, after some very cute persistance from AJ she finds herself to agreeing to a date with him.

She is gorgeous and he is smoking hot so getting to third base happens rapidly and OMG these two are sinfully sexy together. They have life changing intimacy that has them both wanting more. Insta-lust and insta-love is happening between them, whether they wanted it or not.

Mia is very aware that pursuing anything with AJ comes with huge risks for her, trust being the main one as he is famous and travels with his band. He has a huge appetite for sex so she doubts he can remain celibate on the road. All of this comes from her own insecurity and past behaviour of other men in her life so she is quick to jump to conclusions and make assumptions about AJ.

AJ is doing everything he can to show Mia that he is serious about her but after one too assumptions and dealing with an unreasonable stubborn woman he gives her what she wants, space. Therefore, when they meet again months later, neither of them are surprised that the level of feeling between hasn’t dimmed. When AJ looks at Mia all he can see is his future and he plans to never let her go again.

Okay, I'm saying to myself as I write this, trust your gut. You tried this author before and it didn't work for you. Try again and worse than the first time. This fits the true definition of stupid -- me ... yep.

Why didn't this one work? Well, the book actually had potential if you could have gotten a story out of it. All you really had was an attempt at a story with a whole lot of gratuitous sex. I really rather liked the characters. They were trapped in this horrid tale.

Gratuitous sex? What do I mean? Well, an example, at 30% in, we had one date. A single date. On this first date, we had sex more than a handful of times ~ at least a dozen orgasms, but hadn't made it to his apartment yet. Then the fun started. Seriously? Come on!! Enough said.

The cover is gorgeous.

I hope you enjoy this one more than I.

Happy Reading ... you, not me.

First off, I am a HUGE Runaway Train fan! I would follow those boys all over the county and scream as if they were the New Kids on the Block and work for free as their tour manager and number one fan (LOL) if I could. Jake stole my heart in Music of the Heart but AJ - he set my heart on fire!! Like SERIOUSLY!!! Mia and AJ are high combustible and let me just say that I will never be able to ride in a limo again without thinking about them!

AJ wasn't looking for a relationship or love, but when Mia walked into his life, there was this spark that he just didn't know existed in him. Mia had been hurt before by the guys in her life and she was looking for a little fun after 6 months of mourning her 3 year relationship that went down the tube. AJ and his smooth moves hit Mia like a hurricane and she was whipped into a frenzy that took her by surprise. But will AJ and Mia be able to let go of pasts that they can't change and be able to move forward?

I could not put this book down. I kept saying "just one more chapter" and before I knew it, it was 4am and my iPad had hit me in the face at least twice. I didn't care. Mia was spicy and was a force that AJ loved to tease and play with. They were the perfect match. AJ is HOT HOT MUY CALIENTE HOT!!! Boy, if I would have had an actual book instead of my eReader, I would have been fanning myself constantly. We still get to see the cast of Music of the Heart which I loved to see too! 5 STICKS Flying into the crowd! Loved it!

Thank God I read AJ before Jake. I like AJ, but not crazy about him.
Mia ...well Mia had some issues with infidelity, make sense...but too much misunderstanding, making me tired.

There's some scene that I thought not really necessary.

But it was okay read, AJ was hot but f*** dating is not really my thing either :)

AJ Resendiz was my favorite character in Music of the Heart" target="_blank">Music of The Heart by Katie Ashley, hands down. In fact, I mentioned in my review that I wanted his story, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at how much more I enjoyed Beat of the Heart compared to Music of the Heart. Music was sweet, the heroine a virgin. Beat was plain old H-O-T. It also had one of my favorite things, banter. I love flirtatious banter, and Beat of the Heart by Katie Ashley had it in spades. Just what I expected from AJ, but better.

Mia Martinelli is a feisty, curvy, Italian cardiac nurse. AJ Resendiz is the sexy latin drummer for Runaway Train. He is visiting a crew member in the hospital and meets Mia in a very cute scene.
A tall, dark haired, dark-eyed goddess of a nurse strode into the room. Through her standard blue scrubs, I detected she possessed every attribute that gave me instant wood--wide curvy hips, thick thighs, a voluptuous ass and a full, natural rack.

Since this is how my husband would describe me (totally his type), I was able to to hop right in there and be Mia (I love that!).  Immediately the banter began.
"Holy shit, dude! I can't believe what she just said to you!" Rhys exclaimed, wiping the tears from his eyes.
I stared momentarily at the closed door before a smile spread across my cheeks. "Now, that gentleman, is the future Mrs. Resendiz, right there."

Mia has some major issues though with her body (I can so relate) but most of her issues come from her dickhead ex. Mia has been burned. Big time. And she is not about to let it happen again. Her best friend and co-worker, Dee, a gay male nurse, was absolutely hysterical. So him, combined with the banter between AJ and Mia, and the friendship between the band guys had me smiling the whole way through.

AJ tries a few ways to convince Mia to go out with him (I loved this!) But luckily Dee keeps Mia from being a total idiot.
"You look like just the hot ticket she needs to clear away the vajayjay cobwebs."

Beat of the Heart Katie Ashley

After much convincing, because Mia doesn't want to follow all of the fake skinny girls he dates, Mia finally agrees to basically sex with AJ. (I told you I'm Mia, right? Yay! Sex with AJ!)

"This is going to be epic!" Dee gyrated his hips as he danced over to me. "You need to make an appointment for hair and nails ASAP." His gaze  dropped below my waist. I'm thinking a bikini wax as well. Don't want to be welcoming Mr. Latin Lover to the jungle."~ Dee

Though the date was supposed to be 'sex only' it turned out to be an awesome date. And then got even more awesome.

Oh my. AJ was the perfect blend of commanding alpha, and totally hot and sweet. Plus he loves a curvy girl! And let me tell you. I didn't know Katie, the sweet Steel Magnolia, had it in her, but Beat of the Heart was:

Beat of the Heart Katie Ashley

The first half of Beat of the Heart was a total 5++++ star read for me. The second half went a little downhill for me for a few reasons, the main one being the use of very common plot devices. I still loved it though, and I'm a huge fan of Runaway Train!

concert

Likes:

•I was grinning the whole time.
•The fun banter.
•Dee, the Lafayette-looking male nurse was awesome.
•Lots of current pop-culture references.
•A curvy heroine with body image was totally relatable, and her doubts were understandable.
•Totally hot sex!
•Teasing about romance novels "Why is it that during the sex scenes the guy always says 'Come for me, baby, and the chick comes?"
•Usage of some of my favorite words like Vajayjay and Douchenozzle.
•How much AJ loves Mia's body.
•The pre-connection AJ has with Mia's family.
•A surprise tie-in with the Proposition series by Katie Ashley (not necessary to read first at all, just a guest appearance).

Dislikes:

•Too many typical plot devices used (misunderstanding and more).
•Not enough of the music part of being musicians. You would barely ever even know they were in a band.
•AJ lost a bit of his fun side towards the end, though he turned sweet and romantic.
•Not very memorable.
•Mia fought a little too much, AJ didn't push hard enough.
•The epilogue was just too over-the-top good to be true.

Beat of the Heart, to me, was way better than Music of the Heart which I really enjoyed. It brought me back to that feeling I had when I read my first Katie Ashley book a year ago, The Proposition . I had a perma-grin on my face the whole time I read Beat of the Heart (in one sitting!). It was a fast, sexy, fun, feel-good read with lots of  'I can relate' moments and fun current references. It started as a 5+++ star read, and though it lost a little momentum through the book, overall I still highly recommend it.

What I love about Beat of the Heart by Katie Ashley. Ms. Ashley has written a book that is smart, sexy, feisty, witty, and is a must read. The book is the second novel in the Runaway Train series.

The book centers around A.J. Resendiz, the drummer from the band Runaway Train. His character was introduced in the first book, Music of the Heart. A.J. is cocky, sexy, rich, and has a silver tongue that he uses to his advantage in and out of the bedroom. Ashley writes him as a totally likable character, and he was very easy to fall for. A.J. is also fiercely loyal and has a good sense of humor. Yes, I think I am in love.

Enter the books heroine Mia Martinelli, supervisor at the Cardiac Care Unit at St. Joe’s Hospital in Atlanta. How to describe Mia? Mia is feisty, fiery, sexy, witty, and smart. I absolutely adore the character of Mia. No, Mia isn’t perfect, and she has body issues that plague her. Life has also dumped on Mia, but this is a strong gal–who is stronger than what life throws at her. Mia does have some major trust issues that she has to deal with, but due to her past, trusting a man will be difficult.

Mia and A.J. are a perfect match for each other. A.J. is able to let Mia see herself through his eyes. Mia may not always want to believe A.J.’s vision of her, but he never gives up.

The banter and dialogue was fresh and fun. I snort laughed a few times, and I had a goofy grin on my face during the entire read.

I adored the emotional depth that Ashley brings to Mia’s recollection of her grandmother Mama Sofia. The character has passed on, but the impact that Mama Sofia has made in Mia’s life is front and center in the book. The love that Mia has for her grandmother and the void that her passing has left is palpable, as Mia recounts stories about Mama Sophia.

Now I want to exam the juicy sexy part of the book. HOLY HELL, who ever reads this book onto tape will have to make sure they are well hydrated and have enough PowerBars to keep them going. As the sex scenes are scorchers. Yes, SAFE SEX IS DISCUSSED and USED !! I tip my hat to Ms. Ashley, as Mia is a nurse and A.J. is a rocker. Yes, I am implying the dude has slept with a lot of women. Better safe than sorry. I am one who doesn’t think talking about testing or birth control is a turn off. If you get squirmy about those issues, you shouldn’t be having sex or even reading about it. As sex is far more intimate than simple words. Boy do these two characters have sex, raw Hummer limo sex! Okay I need to pause…………

Okay back.. Hope you didn’t miss me; I needed to go take a cold shower. In this book Ms. Ashley writes some mighty fine sexy times that should satisfy any romance reader. If they don’t, you must be dead below the belly button, as I felt tingles down to my toes. There is the ECKFACTOR to consider, our sexiness scale name for our fellow blogger Michelle Eck. I would place this book in the ‘too hot to touch’ category or ‘I almost burst into flames’.

This is one of the best books that Ms. Ashley has written. Like I said before, I had a smile on my face the entire time that I was reading this book. It is a wonderful feel-good romance.

I would have cut a down on the word ‘douche’, but I am not a rocker and therefore don’t swear like one. It does fit the characters but switch up the epitaph for this reviewer. Jackity Jackass, is a good one Ms. Ashley.

Despite it being number two in the Runaway Train series, this book could be read as a standalone book. Don’t bother putting it on your to be read list. Just go buy it and start reading it. You won’t be disappointed.

When I think of Katie Ashley, hot and steamy sex isn't the first thought that pops into my head. While her books have been known to induce a fair bit of cheek fanning, Beat of the Heart is undoubtedly her spiciest book to date, immediately launching into the whirlwind love affair between protagonists, AJ and Mia. Readers were first introduced to Runaway Train's drummer in Abby and Jake's story, Music of the Heart, but Beat of the Heart shows a different side to the former womanizer as he meets his match with Mia. In some ways, Mia and AJ are very similar, but in others, they couldn't be more different, which is exactly why theirs is such a fascinating relationship to read about.

No offense to Jake, who I absolutely adored in Music of the Heart, but AJ is as close to perfect as a fictional hero can get. What's not to love about a charming, handsome Latin rock star with a penchant for talking dirty and a fondness for "real" women? What I loved most about his character was his unwavering self-assuredness because, as much as he was previously depicted as a carefree jokester, AJ surprised me by being the voice of reason in the story. Beat of the Heart conveys how much AJ has matured as a character since the first book in the series.

I was thankful on more than one occasion for AJ's steadying presence because experiencing half of the narrative through Mia's perspective can be somewhat maddening. Despite wanting to throttle her every so often, I sympathized with Mia's character, whose personal hang ups are a constant source of emotional upheaval. Of all the heroines I've gotten to know through Katie Ashley's books, Mia is the most relatable because she is, as AJ notes, a real girl. She's not the picture of perfection and purity, but is instead deeply flawed from being repeatedly burned in her past. While I may have questioned some of her decisions, I understood where she was coming from.

Out of all the books I've read by Katie Ashley, Music of the Heart was my favorite, but it has since been dethroned by its sequel. The best part of the Runaway Train series is that, even though each story is a standalone novel, the same characters continue to make reappearances as the overarching narrative progresses. It's fun to see the musical and romantic progress of my favorite characters, knowing that, even though their individual narrative may be concluded, they'll return in a future book. The series gets better with each installment, which means the bar is set pretty high for Rhys's upcoming novel, but I'm positive that Katie Ashley will be up to the challenge.

Runaway Train is back! Oh, and the hot, sexy, drummer AJ Resendiz is the focus of Book 2 – Beat of the Heart. Whew … a Latin Lover, a cardiac-care nurse, hotel rooms, a set of drums and 2 people that will make your heart go “Boom-Boom” – could you ask for anything more?

I was totally psyched when I read that AJ was going to be the 2nd book of this series. I loved Abby and Jake’s story in Music of the Heart and was thrilled that Ms. Ashley was bringing the whole gang back together again. So many unfinished stories and HEA’s to explore. AJ and Mia didn’t disappoint and Katie Ashley definitely amped up the hot in this book.

AJ loves his drums, loves his family and just may be getting tired of the groupies, the one-night stands. He thought he may have found the right girl in Kylie but a trip to the ER and a visit with their head roadie in the hospital had him rethinking everything. One look at Mia and he was a goner. Now, to convince her that he could be a one-woman man, even on the road.

Mia had her heart broken and her self-esteem stripped by her cheating ex-fiancee. The last thing she needs is a guy like AJ Resendiz stringing her along. Yea, he was hot. No, she never hear of Runaway train. Yea, she’s been out of the dating game for a while. No, she’s not jumping back into the game with a guy that could have any girl he wanted in any city. Enter Dee, her best friend and confidant. The man that was there to pick up the pieces after she found Dev in bed with her best friend. After some long talks and lots of tears, Dee finally convinces her to give AJ a chance. A date isn’t going to hurt and she doesn’t have to give him her heart.

I could not put this book down. There was so much going on, so much unfinished story-lines from Music of the Heart that I just couldn’t wait to get through Beat of the Heart to see what would and would not get resolved and where AJ and Mia were going. Pleasant surprises and one hysterical gay guy named Dee had me anticipating turning the next page to see who would screw up and who would come out with an HEA. Then, Ms. Ashley goes and throws Luke Bryan into the mix … yep, we could live with that! So do yourself a favor and pick up both Music of the Heart and Beat of the Heart. I don’t know what she has in store for us next but I can’t wait to find out!
