Poetry is a rather personal preference I think, and while I did enjoy some of the poems included in this book, I found the format somewhat jarring. This collection of poetry was supposed to be about those that read like music but it must have been music heard only in the compiler's ears because to me it all seemed quite unharmonious. The poems included were very old ones from famous authors, very new ones from authors who were new to me and perhaps not-so-famous, and the subject matter was all over the place which made it difficult to hear the music while reading because of the discordant way it was all put together.
