VERY GOOD: The characteristics of a 4 star book include: a great story; I loved the characters; and there was an interesting plot and unique story elements; there may have been a few odd things kept the story from being amazing. I would read it again and I would recommend it to a friend.Initial Reaction: Wonderful continuation in the Tales of Were series. I love how D'Arc keeps the series interesting by adding in different types of paranormal species.
Quality of writing: Very GoodMy Thoughts: I enjoyed this Tales of Were story very much. It was a quick and easy read and I really appreciate the continuation of this series because each story is unique with its own story line and characters but builds upon the major theme that a battle is brewing between the forces of good and evil. I'm sure that all of the characters in the series, thus far, will play major roles in the upcoming battle.
Pace: Easy and Even
Characters: Well thought out and compelling. I loved Slade and Kate's personas. They were very well suited for one another.
Plot development: Satisfying
Story line: Straight and to the point. No unnecessary fluff or filler added.
Enjoyability: Very enjoyable and I'd happily do a re-read.
Heat Level:Hot! That bathroom scene between Kate, Slade and Steve was smoking hotttt!
