This was an intriguing mystery to find a serial killer, that kept me reading. I had to know how it ended. I found the psychic aspect very interesting, yet believable, not going to extremes.
The heroine is an ME who is psychic. How would you react if suddenly every time you touched a corpse that had a violent death you, you relived it, especially if you have not always been psychic? This was an enjoyable read that had me entertained and in the world to the end.
I liked the premise of the story and liked the relationship between Ryan and Jack. Jack is supportive and pushes Ryan to get back into the world after she has been essentially a hermit for the past year, however he is never pushy or alpha about it. This would have been a 4 for me, but the editing is poor. Normally those things don't stick out to me, but it did in this story - such as college instead of colleague and privet instead of private and some punctuation errors.
