Detective George Beaumont #8.1

Missing: Michelle Cromack

Rate this book
Lee Brook’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team cases are lightning-quick, fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat novellas with action from the first page to the last. Designed to be read in one sitting—on the train, plane, or in the car—each one is a story-driven shot of entertainment from the West Yorkshire Crime Thrillers universe.

When 22-year-old insurance clerk, Michelle Cromack, goes missing in Killingbeck, Leeds, DS Isabella Wood is called to action.

At first, it appears to be an open and shut case, especially as Michelle's boyfriend has a history of violence.

And then CSI unearth evidence that completely changes the course of the investigation.

Each novella in the HMET Cases series ranges from 20k to 30k words.

A fast paced story as ever from Lee. The only thing I missed from the story was George but then again he had to take a back seat from everything because of what happened before. But I still enjoyed the book and comes highly recommended from me.

This book had potential... but sadly did not reach it... for me anyway.
