When aliens called DearS land on Earth and are sent to random high schools to learn Earth's customs, Takeya helps Ren, a sexy DearS, figure out the wacky customs of this place called Earth.
Peach-Pit (ピーチ・ピット Pīchi Pitto) is a female manga artist duo in Japan, made up of Banri Sendo (千道 万里 Sendō Banri) and Shibuko Ebara (えばら 渋子 Ebara Shibuko). Their group name derives from the diner hangout Peach-Pit from the TV show Beverly Hills, 90210. Although both have similar styles, with some artwork it is possible to identify which artist drew it. Both are known for their bishōjo styled works. As noted in their books, they are both Geminis and have "Almost flushed our phones down the toilet...twice."
The two of them grew up together and went to the same elementary school and have been best friends ever since. Both started as doujinshi manga artists, but not as Peach-Pit. Then they were scouted by Dengeki Comic Gao!. In 2008, one of their manga, Shugo Chara!, was awarded the Kodansha Manga Award for best children's manga. Shugo Chara was also turned later into an Anime television series.
This was another good installment, showing Neneko's past and sadness, as well as another power of the DearS. Miu, despite looking so happy, is actually quite sad. I love the art, it's quite cute, though it does get a bit fan servicey at times.
Miu is introduced! She is the real transfer student and doesn’t enjoy Ren. It’s more clearly explained to Takeya that run and pretty much really all DearS are slaves to a master. Ren tries to sex him up but he doesn’t really want to do anything with her if it’s not out of love.
Other aliens are beginning to question how Ren is even here while the reader knows that she’s an escaped prototype. They feel a bit of jealousy that she has a master. The female friend Neneko has a secret crush on the male character. The aliens can feel others emotions, levitate things, and heal wounds. A fellow alien named Khi is helping Miu but always seems to be injured.
The aliens aren’t supposed to be capable of making choices but Ren makes the choice to decide to stay with Takeya after a bounty hunter comes looking for her (a “Biter”). Takeya accepts the title as her master. The other DearS want her contained or killed and seem to be determined.

A very unusual series that seems to grow in complication with so many different DearS turning up and Ren not able to do the basics needed. I don't know how they are going to go on from there.
