Even today my parents weren't completely sure how to deal with girls.
"Of course we still love you, Constanze," my father would always say. However after my brother was born, I think they've seriously considered giving the superfluous child, meaning me, up for adoption.

[The kid] probably started lisping due to way too much under-burdening.
"Mummy! Marlon said arsehole."
"I didn't thay athole, you athole!"
"That sounds Polish," said Frauke.
"Athole?" I asked. "I'd say Danish, rather. But to be honest I speak neither Danish nor Polish. I'm afraid I'm just not gifted enough."
